Summer 2011-Mini Album

YES !!! I made a mini album ! Loved the Key Lime collection from Bo Bunny when it first came out at CHA and thought it would be fun to create a mini album to document the week we rented a Summer cabin.

I used this chipboard album from Nikki Sivils , because I thought it looked like a surfboard when you put the pieces side by side :)  I know...I'm a goof :)

That cute cloud button is from My little bit of Whimsy.

We got a lot of us of the pool !!

A doctor friend from work brought us out on his speed boat and the boys got to go tubing ! FUN!

I really enjoyed creating this album....I may have caught the "mini album bug" !!

Creative Scrappers #234-@ the patch

Happy,happy Sunday blog friends.

Today is team B's first reveal at Creative Scrappers and I am happy to share my layout with you all !!!

The supplies are from Simple Stories -Harvest Lane......love that barn wood paper !!!

Instead of the swirls on the sketch, I used this cute branch with the leaves .

The chevron button was hand crafted by my scrappy friend Stephanie from My Little Bit of Whimsy, she's so clever !

Hello and happy Friday !!!! I'm so happy to share a layout I created for a guest spot on the We R Memory Keepers Facebook page today. They sent me a nice selection of supplies from the Black Widow collection to work with and I had a great time making this layout of Gabriel wearing his pirate costume last Halloween.

My little guys

Hi ladies, I'm home alone for the first time in weeks !!! The boys and hubby are at grandma and grandpa's house and are staying for dinner :) ahhhhhhhh ! It's so quiet !!!! LOL!

I made this layout during the weekend using a sketch from Nicole at Jillibean Soup. I love doing these challenges because they make me use up all my current JB stash......so I don't feel guilty about buying all of the new collections when they come out !!! Love me some JB :) !!

I used supplies from many different collection for this one. I do love to mix and match !!! 

I made the flowers from the "hexagon" paper from the Macho Nacho collection. It's funny when you stare a piece of paper long enough ,you start to see things :)

Happy Saturday !!! So glad it's the weekend and it going to be beautiful !! Poor Gabriel does indeed have the chicken pox :(....hoping Felix won't :). They both had the vaccination, so it shouldn't be too bad .

You're my shining star

Happy Saturday...school's out for the summer !!! Yay ! The boys are so happy...but little Felix woke up sick this morning.....I guess I'll be doing a lot of laundry today :(

I have a layout created for my DT work at Bird's of a Feather Kit Co today.

The big challenge as a Canadian gal was to use these patriotic themed Authentique papers to create a "neutral" layout. I used a sketch from the Authentique blog ( it's for the June sketch challenge ).
