Ok...so I took a few days off. I needed to escape the Wild Card challenge for a little while. I turned 41...had to mourn!! I was challenged to use copics on a card...by my good pal Donna ( datsmystyledj.blogspot.com/ ). I tried to ignore it...but every time I turned around...COPICS COPICS COPICS!!! As a joke and torment, my scrapbook pals decided to gift me with a few copics...to torment me! The only one that wasn't being outright evil contributing to this dastardly gift is who this card is for...Amy. Donna's daughter. Sweet, caring and not a mean bone in her body...Amy. Hope she likes it. This is Wild Card # 35 (father). I used the smallest stamp I owned on purpose...and I didn't cut the darn thing out!!

Wild Card # 32

Wild Card # 32...cake. I decided to go black and white for this one...and a tiny bit of pink. After all this is a wedding card...it's more for the girl anyway. I like it and it was easy peasy.

Recipe:
  • black swiss dot, pink bling and white embossed Bazzill
  • Basic Grey Rhinestones and Pearls in dark grey
  • Imaginisce Tie the Knot ribbon
  • sentiments from My Sentiments Exactly-rub ons
  • Wild Card Cartridge
  • flower punch for flowers inside card
I had a hard time taking these pics. It was so bright out on my deck where I normally shoot. It was also very windy...my card went flying off the deck and I didn't notice a small feather was on the inside shot of the card. Oh well C'est la vie!! I also messed with the colour...so if it's brutal...you know why.

Wild Card # 31

31...finally 31 cards. This one is called present. Another obvious name. I think this one turned out a little bland. I tried to go for at least unisex, the paper went well together, but the overall card kinda...bland.

What I used for the bland card:
  • all paper except the card base(blucky gross yellow Bazzill Bling) is DCWV Nana's Nursery-Boy
  • white embroidery floss
  • glitter brad(not sure of brand...from Dat's)
  • American Crafts Glitter button
  • Kraftin Kimmie Sentiments(in and out)
  • CTMH ink Crystal Blue
I guess you can tell from my blog that I tend to hate the colour yellow...I think it stems from my childhood...I'm blond, and when I had no say in the clothes I wore, my Mom loved to dress me in yellow. I looked like a banana. I still avoid this colour like the      plague. I NEVER dressed MY daughter in yellow...sob!
