Richard Petty Art

Hi...today I'm posting a little gift that I made for a Richard Petty fanatic...hopefully he likes it! I found a pic on line...traced it with my Cameo and cut it out of White and Black Recollections card stock...I then put it together like a puzzle. The 43 was cut using a font on my Silhouette using red and blue AC card stock. I added a little bling using Kaisercraft rhinestones and Wink of Stella clear on the hat decoration and sunglasses. The frame was from Michael's. Now this took me longer than I would have liked as I kept messing it up gluing it down...the third time was the charm...after a few colourful words I might add. Thanks for stopping by...Lee-Ann :)

Christmas Ornament

I was inspired to make this ornament by the new tag kit by PTI. I took one look and thought...I can make something like that using my Cameo. I owned a layered card by Elizabeth Mayne listed below...all I did was make my own circular layers from the layers on the card...worked like a charm. Love the look. This will be my holiday table ornament this year...I make one for all my Christmas dinner guests every year. Sorry for the pic...I kept getting a reflection...and since it's sleety and snowy here...inside pics are the only choice. Thanks for stopping by...Lee-Ann :)

Dad's Coupon book

Hi...today I'm showing you one of the gifts that I made for my Dad. It's a coupon book full of Cinnamon Roll coupons. Long story...my Dad's Grandma used to live with his family when he was little...she was a big baker...and made homemade bread and cinnamon rolls regularly. When she passed away...his mother...my Grandma used to make the cinnamon rolls. When she passed away...I took over. I make Cinnamon rolls for him on his Birthday and Father's Day...and if he's ever in hospital or laid up. He always bugs me to make them for him...he LOVES them. I decided to make him a coupon book with 12 coupons that he can cash in for batches of his favourite homemade treats. I found a pic of the rolls on line and made my own coupon using my Silhouette. The coupon book cut was by Silhouette #1771. The paper is from MME-12 Days of Christmas line...the enamel dots are also MME. The white card stock is Neenah solar white. I also used My Creative Time's Vintage label  and Upper case Alphabet dies. Wink of Stella clear was applied to the letters to give them some shimmer. The glitter brads are from Doodlebug. Thanks for stopping by...Lee-Ann :)

Here's the Print and cut creation that I came up with using #58730 Spring Bouquet from Amy Robison. I shadowed my Print N Cut and welded the base...love how it turned out. I used a Signo white gel pen to faux stitch around my base and Prima Sugar dots to doll up my Printed design. The mini tag and sentiment is from My Creative Time(Teeny Tags and greetings)I stamped the sentiment with Onyx Black Versafine ink on Neenah solar white card stock. I printed my design on American Crafts white card stock...love the texture. The button is from American Crafts and the twine is from MME(charmed).
