Sailboats leaving port at Cartagena Columbia
These photos were all taken as we were leaving Cartagena Columbia.
They all looked like they were going to flip over at any second.
I was glad I was on the ship and not in one of these sailboats.

Brown pelicans at Maderia Beach October 2008
These 2 Brown Pelicans were on Maderia Beach, Florida in October 2008.
I watched them for a while, but they never did get any closer to each other.

Lighthouse in the middle of the ocean
While we were on the cruise Jimmy stood on our balcony
with the binoculars to see what was out there.
I also took this photo with a flash, but I like this one better.
One day while we were out at sea all day he said to grab the camera and come quick. There was a lighthouse out in the middle of the ocean. I don't have a clue where we were, except it was the day before we got back to Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Click to enlarge, but I can't tell that it is anything but a lighthouse.
Another beautiful sight from the balcony, on a different day.

Leaving Limon, Costa Rica
I took a lot of photos of the various ships in the different ports while we were on the cruise.
We traveled with Princess Cruise Lines, on the Coral Princess ship.
I like the lighting and the reflections in the water in this photo taken in the port at Costa Rica.
Both of these moon photos were taken hand held off the balcony of our stateroom later that evening. I was shocked to see that they weren't double or triple moons.
I still have Jamaica and the actual Panama Canal photos to go through,
but will be taking another rest from them.
I will get to them....someday.

Arriving at Limon, Costa Rica February 9, 2009
Well. I finally went through the Costa Rica photos from our February trip.
These 3 photos were taken as we arrived in port.
I know they look like good Skywatch photos, but I just don't have the time for Skywatch right now. It takes too much work visiting all those other (300+) blogs.
That dot way out there is a ship. The dark line on the right is the edge of my balcony.
I was not going to start this series today, but it is St Patrick's day, and the 3rd post of this series is really green. So here goes, there will be 3 different post today.

St Pete at sunset
These sunset photographs were taken October 25, 2008 on St Pete Beach, Florida.
These gulls were just asking for their photograph to be taken. Aren't they great love birds?

Submarine trip in Aruba
The first country we went to while on our cruise was Aruba.
Our excursion there was a trip down in a submarine.
This is the submarine as it started down with the next group.
There were lots of these blue fish. Sorry I don't remember the names of any of the fish.
To see much you will need to enlarge.
One of the 3 ship wrecks we saw. 2 of the ships were sung by the Atlantis company, but it has been several years ago.
but at 130 ft down the light was not always the best.
This photo is even darker than the rest, but if you enlarge I hope you can see the green eel. He is about center of the photo, just his head is sticking out.
Can you imagine spending the weekend here?

Bare necessities, shelter overhead, nothing else.
This last photo was taken from our cruise ship, looking out at port.
