I think the first four photos are Painted Turtles. Not sure though. I have not tried to research turtles at all.

I like this pair on the log, with all the reflections.

Not sure about this last one, it does appear to be a different type.

Turtles in the Florida Everglades

Turtles from the Florida Everglades.

After we got off the cruise ship we needed to travel to the other side of Florida to our time share. We had over 24 hours to do this, and Jimmy had mentioned recently he would love to really see the Everglades. So here we were close by, with some time to spare. We decided to take a air boat ride through the Everglades. It was just as enjoyable as any tour that we took from the cruise ship (and at a real reasonable price). I will be sharing more photos later, this is just the start.

This photo was taken in Virginia during my trip in June. I thought it was a turtle, but I was not sure until I could see the actual photo. He never moved, but I think that was because he was enjoying the sunshine so much. This was in a creek at the side of the road.
