These photographs were also taken between Kingston and Rockwood.
These were taken standing on the side of the highway. So quiet and peaceful to be so close to the highway.
The last photograph has 2 men out fishing in the fall afternoon. So relaxing.

Fall Colors around Watts Bar Lake
These photos were taken between Kingston and Rockwood last Sunday afternoon when we first got back to East Tennessee from vacation.
This driftwood in the front looks like it needs a bird sitting on it. Would have made a great photograph.
Watts Bar Lake is on both sides of the highway between Kingston and Rockwood. I love reflections in water anytime of year, but fall just adds to the reflections. I also like the evergreens mixed in here.

We got the house - closed today
The house is located on the main highway between Rockwood and Spring City. It is 10 miles closer to my work than Spring City is. So that will help when I am traveling my 2 days a week. It is about 9 miles from his work location. Hubby will spend 4 nights a week, and I will 2 nights a week. The rest we will both be at our home in New Market.
Several people have asked to see a picture of the house we are buying. I did not want show it until it was actually ours. We closed today at 1PM, now the work begins.

It had been on well water, but it must have gone bad. We get connected to public water next week (hopefully). From this picture you can see one of the reasons we got it cheap. Needs a roof and gutters. The roof is minor compared to some other issues. Hubby will be real busy for awhile.
Notice in the above picture you can see a building in the back corner. The picture below is a very close up of the building. Love the look of the wood. Wish that light fixture was somewhere else, probably not going to be moved just for my photography reasons.
The lot is 1.68 acres. There was another house built in 1925, at some point it burned, all that remains of it is the foundation. This out building was probably on the property that long ago.

Fall Colors in Roane County
I took these photos on Monday while I was running errands involved with buying the new house close to Jimmy's work. The top 2 photos are in Rockwood, Tennessee.
The last 2 are in Harriman, Tennessee. Went to Harriman looking for the courthouse, ends out the courthouse is in Kingston. We had a good laugh out of that one.
