Chickadee came to visit
The Chickadees don't come to the feeders close to the house.
They only visit the tree line close to the road. I do also have a feeder there.
Guess there is not enough protection around my house for them.
This was my first attempt at using the blind and I placed the blind too far from the food.
After I took these photos I moved to the deck and placed the blind in the middle of my deck and saw how VERY close I could place it. I posted the first photos of the Goldfinch from the blind.

Chickadee thankful it is turkey day and not chickadee day
I took these photographs of a Carolina Chickadee on Thanksgiving Day. We had a warm day, and I ventured out to my front yard, should do it more often. I have not adjusted to the cold this year, maybe because we are breaking records. One day recently we broke a 1937 record by 3 degrees. Global warming...not around here this year. Don't mean to step on any toes there, just kidding. The rain set in on Sunday, and we still have a house with a tarp across the roof. Not good!
