Since the weather was a little cooler than usual during February we visited several new parks while we were in Florida this time.
We found a park in St Petersburg, Saw Grass Park.
It has boardwalks (with no side rails) that just wandered through the park.
We were watching for birds and not having much luck.
So it was sorta a dud until we came across the Armadillo.
He was going under the leaves to gather insects I guess.
Made it kind of hard to get a head shot of this guy.
Here is the butt shot we are all the time getting. In this case I like it, can see that mean looking tail. Wouldn't want to be hit with that thing.
