morning off

A rare moment of freedom yesterday spent catching up with a dear friend AND visiting my favourite fabric shop. A very nice combination indeed.
I was ecstatic earlier this week when Elisabeth sent me the pictures of her photoshoot with the dolls. they are fantastic, better than what i could ever have imagined. I now have the difficult task to choose the two of them that are going to make it into a print. they will be in the shop at the end of next month hopefully .
Before that I am hoping to have a little shop update, in about two weeks time..
enjoy the end of the week x

some stripes and a bow tie

this photograph by Tim Walker was the source of inspiration behind the new Lewis and Lumi below. Too bad I missed his exhibition in London.

you may have read about the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act that has shaken the handmade community over the past few weeks. Please read about the issue here and check how you can help. read about the latest exemptions here.
Although this bill was passed in the States it does concern all of us toy makers and makers of products for children.
