I Love Little Notebooks!

I've recently enjoyed myself creating some little notebooks, perfect to be tacked away in the bag or in the car.

I had already made a few but I wanted to make some more.

I reached for my patterned paper stash, for some die cuts and stamps and made these:

This one is probably my favourite, with this funny fish from Taws.

Then, one perfect for a little girl:

made with one of my stamps from There She Goes.

Something yummy for the food lover:

made with a cupcake die cut I had in my stash.

Then, the last one you may remember from some time ago:

made with a fawn (or deer?) die cut I bought somewhere around the web a long time ago.

I LOVE to see my collection on the desk this morning!

These notebooks are for sale in my Etsy shop. Please contact me if you need help in locating them.

Boy Voyage.

Bon Voyage cards are among my favourites.
Maybe because I like to travel or because I feel that every trip, no matter how far, is full of dreams, expectations and excitement.

I've recently made this card:

When I heard The Alley Way Stamps was closing down, I reached for my stamps and decided to put them in good use.
This plane is from the Priceless Joy set of stamps.
Paper is from Echo Park (Country Drive).

Even if I have no trip scheduled in the next future, this plane heading for the sun makes me dream of flying somewhere...

Inspired by Colors!

I've just finished a project for a Rainbow Party and I'm still in the "colors, colors, colors!" mood...

So, inspired by a challenge on The Alley Way Stamps Challenge Blog I created some colorful tags using one of my The Alley Way neglected stamps.

These are my tags:

I've had The Alley Way Stamps Kitchen Gadgets set of clear stamps for a looong while and I decided it was time to use at least one of its gorgeous stamps.

I made these square tags with my neglected square punches using a white cardstock and a bright gingham paper and adding the jam colored with Copics and glued with 3D dots. A rhinestone and a satin ribbon decorate the tag.

I don't like to cook but I'd always thought about making my own jams... I don't think I'll ever do that but I have the cutest tags ready to decorate them, just in case...

For the Boys.

I once saw a Christmas card made with a funny fish and I immediately headed to The Alley Way Stamps and bought the set.

It is called Castaways and has lots of lovely images and, with my favourite one, I made this:

Isn't it super cute?

I had these tags from Ikea so I simply stamped the fish, colored it with my Copic markers, added a ric rac ribbon, a punched heart and a sweet message.
I made lots of them... it was such a fun!

A Lovely Spring Morning.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I woke up this morning and saw that it was a sunny day!

We spent Easter vacations under the rain and this also meant that we all got flu... quite annoying.
I didn't have high fever but my bones... well, I felt like I had been to a boxing match!

Daughter gone back to school today, I can sit down and write this post before finishing some projects I left unattended for a week.

With The Alley Way Stamps Be Inspired Challenge # 25 in mind I created a card and matching tag.

First, here's the inspiration:
I first created a tag using the car in the Priceless Joy set from The Alley Way Stamp:

The paper is from The Country Drive Collection from Echo Park and I simply added a dotted satin ribbon and a couple of pearls.

Then, I made the card:
With the same stamp from The Alley Way Stamps, paper from Echo Park and light green dotted ribbon.

I love this girly set, it reminds me of spring weekends and Easter Monday picnics (no, not this year...) leaving for the country...

This card is for the following challenges:
Fussy and Fancy # 85: Spring Days

To tell you the truth... pink is my favorite color and sometimes I'd like to have a pink car... it should be much prettier than a standard black one, right?

I Can't Believe I Did It!

I did it!

I cleaned, reorganized, decluttered my craft room!

I had piles of things to sort, to find a place for, to throw away, lots of dust and now... it's all clean!

Last Tuesday I decided to start: I thought I needed three days but it took one week!

It's not all in its place, I have a few bags of things to donate, a couple of bags of old papers to be thrown away and a big box full of craft books, craft materials etc. which hopefully I'll be able to list on ebay in the next few months.

I lost the count of how many bags of papers I tossed: I decided to keep just a few cooking magazines and recipes I cut in the last years. I don't like to cook and recipes are available everywhere so I decided it was better to let them go to someone who maybe is interested and donated them. The same with craft and stitching books and magazines: some are old, some are out of my current taste, some are gifts i've never liked...

I did not manage to throw photos away but I promised I'll take sometimes to sort them and put them in albums so thet they can be more enjoyable.

My daughter helped me a lot and she had a great fun when I put all the things that were on the floor in the living room! It was difficult to walk and sit down on the sofa! I had tons of empty boxes and I managed to toss half of them at the end. Not as many as I thought but at least lots of them are gone!

In addition, I managed to create something early in the morning while waiting for my daughter to wake up:

TAGS!
I made a few, using some chipboard tags I found while I was sorting some of my craft materials and I had so much fun I'm planning to do some more!

This little plane is from The Alley Way: I colored it with Copics and used 3D dots to glue it on the tag. A dotted paper and a pretty bow and... voilĂ !

It's perfect for these challenges:

Pretty in Pink

I LOVE pink!

And...

I'd love a pink kitchen.

Well...

Not entirely pink, just a few touches here and there: a wall, some appliances, curtains...

I remember a special issue of Marie Claire Idées a few years ago which had a perfect "pink" kitchen. And I was inspired by that lovely kitchen when I created this:

and this:

I discovered a new stamp Company, The Alley Way Stamps, a while ago and I had to treat myself with a couple of sets: one dedicated to the kitchen (Kitchen Gadgets) and one to baby boys and girls (Priceless Joy).
I've read that they have a DT Call at the moment and of course, I'll apply... fingers crossed!
