CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra for May - Mid-Month Inspiration.

Welcome to our mid-month inspiration for CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra!

This is my card:

The card is made using a Lawn Fawn star-shaped die and I decorated it with a smaller star cut from pink cardstock.
The angel is from our sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps, and is colored with Copics. The sign is made with a Paper Smooches stamp.
I opted for a pastel pink which matches well with some red touches.

Great cards are waiting for you on the blog, don't forget to have a look!

A Sweet Little Mermaid.

As a participant in Gerda Steiner June Challenge I was sent a new image for July and how cute it was!

This is my card:

I printed her on a background journaling card from Miss Tiina at Sugarhill, colored her with Copics and embellished the card with die cuts (Paper Smooches) and rhinestones.
Sentiment is from Sugar Pea Designs.

I love her and the little starfish she holds in her hand!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 326 - Back to School.

Welcome to a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!

This week the theme is "Back to School".
Although here in Italy schools start on Sept. 15, school is already in the air.

I chose a cute critter to celebrate the Back to School theme:

It's Toby's Tasty Treat from Wags & Whiskers.
Originally, it has a cupcake on his tail but I changed it into an apple to follow the school theme.
I colored it with Copics and mounted it on a background paper from DCWV.
The banner is from Paper Smooches, the sentiment is from There She Goes.

You can find winners from last week here where you can also find tons of inspiration from our amazing DT!

Christmas Card Challenge # 19 - Travel.

Welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!

This week we chose travel as the theme for our creations:

We want to see anything travel-related: a sleigh or a reindeer or a car...

I chose a car:

It's from an old set from Pink Petticoat and is colored with Copics. The banner is from Paper Smooches (Streamers) and the background paper is from Lawn Fawn.

This theme is surely a favourite of mine and I can't wait to see your creations!

If you need some inspiration, have a look at what my teamies have created:

Let's Chat!

As promised, here I am with another card for the Paper Smooches Designer Drafts Challenge.

I already made a card (check the post here) but, while planning that one, I decided to make another one with a totally different feel.

This time I went for pink, hearts and a girly girl look:

This is made with another stamp from the Perpetual Bliss set (available in Paper Smooches shop) with a couple of my favourite papers from Doodlebug.

This is the sketch to follow:

Well, I'm a bit in a hurry this morning, just a few more minutes to link my card to the following challenges:

Let the Good Times Roll!

I had a lot of fun these past weeks to create something for Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenges and probably the best part was to do it with just a couple of stamp sheets so I decided I had to create something for the new challenge.

This is a Designer Drafts Challenge and we have to make a card following this sketch:

And this is my card:

This radio is from the Perpetual Bliss set of clear stamps available in Paper Smooches shop and I regret the new stamp set I ordered last week hasn't arrived yet because it would have given a special touch.
I went for a 50's retro style with EP Sunshine papers: the radio paper inspired the whole card!

I have another idea with the same sketch, I hope to have time to finish my card and to blog about it too!

I'd like to enter:

Yellow for Valentine's Day.

Good morning!
Here I am today with a totally unexpected post to show you a card I made yesterday.
It was so healthy to change my focus, to use yellow and to think about something different from Christmas!

I was inspired by the challenge over at Paper Smooches: it's a very simple Anything Goes challenge but I wanted to enter a card and, having only a couple of their stamps, it was a real mission.

I actually had an idea in mind using one of their digis but it didn't work so I decided to use one of the stamps from the Falling for You set trying something new.

This is my card:

I wanted to monsters to look at each other but, while this is possible with digi stamps, it's not with clear stamps.
I decided to try and stamp one monster on the back of my paper, trace the outline on the right side of the paper and then color it and cut it.
And now I have a monster boy and a monster girl!
And a Valentine card!
I know yellow it's not a typical color for Valentines but it's not the first time I use it, maybe I love the happiness of yellow and the happiness of love.

Before turning back to my Christmas cards, I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Have a Happy Day!

Inspired by the current challenge at Paper Smooches I decided to create some sweet simple cards with one of their stamps.

Probably beacuse I'm working on some particularly detailed commissions, I needed some time to relax and do something clean, simple and fresh.

I made these little cards:

The clock stamp is from Perpetual Bliss, my very first set of stamps from Paper Smooches.

Being very busy with commissions from Customers and for my challenge groups, I rarely have time to create something free of any kind of theme or image so I enjoyed myself very much doing these cuties!
The most difficult part was, as usual, to part with my buttons (these are among my fav!)...

I hope you like them as much as I do!

Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge for the Very First Time!

Although I'm a fan of Paper Smooches stamps, I think it's the very first time I enter their challenge so I'm a bit scared to confront with such wonderful designers. Their cards are always so original!

I actually didn't make a card. Yesterday, after reading about the challenge, I took out my Paper Smooches stamps and made these:

A while ago I made several of these Post-It covers with other stamps and I though that this lovely vintage telephone from the Perpetual Bliss set was perfect.
I was so happy with the result that I also colored the clock included in this set and thought about a new creation!
