Pink Wednesday - Pink Tip

I got this beautiful blue teal from Jordana and I was sooooo excited to try it on. I know I'm supposed to do a pink mani for today but I forgot - laugh. yeah, that's how excited I was to try that blue teal.
Then I thought " It's alright. I can add some pink to it. They will go together really well."
But talking about the teal from Jordana I got say I simply loved loved the color. It's opaque in just one coat. However I was a little frustrated with it. I know last week I swatched a pretty coral from Jordana. I had no complaints about that one. But I had issues with this bottle here. As I was applying the formula to my 10 nail fingers it started to get thicker and gooey around the open on the bottle. Maybe I just happened to score a bad bottle. Weird!! Oh, and I am not even mentioning the hard time I had cleaning the excess of that polish. It stained my cuticles and skin real bad. Imagine the nail!! And I am always applying a base coat before any nail polish. Plus, when I applied the top coat (Seche Vite then I tried 0-60) to it it kinda turned the blue teal into a greenish tone to it. I don't know, that was just so messed up.
Overall that's what I need to put up with when I love a color too  much.
I still love the color though and the formula application. And because it's Wednesday and On Wednesday I wear Pink here I have my mani of the day. I thought of doing this design with tape but I had no time for it. I attempted just a free hand and guess what? Not too shabby. What do you think?

Like I am always saying, I love the NYC nail polishes ... specially these quick dry ones. They are my favorites. I love the formula and love the brush. When I use them I hardly need to clean it off afterwords. That's how great the brushes are. I spotted the NYC Murray Hill Mauve
and had to get it when I saw it. It's a very discret shimmer polish. I like the wine color to it. I am just having issues and trying differente ways and lights to show the colors as real as possible but so far I have had no success whatsoever. I've tried to use my big Nikon but it's just to heavy for me to hold with just one hand. Tried to get the grip off of it but still. I also gave a try on my old broken Sony which used to have a great macro setting but yeah, it's broken. And the last two pics below are from my other old Sony. I am still using my iPhone to take my nail pictures. It's just so easy. But I want to figure out a good alternative to do better nail pictures. I'll just keep trying. Anyways, if you are reading this and want to give me some tips please let me know. They are very welcome.

Animal Print Nails

I have been playing with my nail polishes.
Usually I sit down to do my nails in a Saturday but as I am no longer using a niper to get rid of my cuticules ( I will share my experience in another post) I have been changing my nail polish quite often. I was watching TV last night and painting my nails when I ended up with that funky look. I tried to use a Konad plate. It was very hard to get the design to transfer well to the stamper. I even  tried two different brands of polish. But I guess you need to keep playing with it until you get the hang of it.The first one looks just like a cow then I added some gold to it and yeah see the result below. I love the fact that I have nails like I have printed a piece of fabric to it.
I apologize about the picture quality. I'll start to use my big camera with better light. It's just easy for me to snap a pic, do some montage w/ an app and then post to my fb page all from my phone.

I just clicke that picture so you can see how it looks like during the day.

Got those ones last night.

I have never done anything like that to my nails before. Would you wear it?
