Can Can Heads
Historia
Can Can Heads es una banda de Finlandia, fuertemente influenciada por el No Wave, Skronk, Free Jazz, Hardcore Punk y todo lo que sea ruidoso. Su último LP "Butter Life" (de 300 copias) fue lanzado originalmente el 14 de marzo del 2014 por Karkia Mistika Records / Verdura Records / Bottom of the Pops. También se lanzaron 100 ejemplares en formato cassette el 10/24/2015. Can Can Heads es un nido de contradicciones, giros y sorpresas. Es una música violenta con un corazón suave. El frontman de la banda no canta, ni toca un instrumento. Él ocupa el espacio en el escenario donde habitualmente se sitúan los cantantes y gira. Generalmente, el bajo es lo más cercano que tiene la banda a un instrumento líder. La música es convulsiva y errática, pero lleva a un estado hipnótico. Es como una música tribal hecha por un quinteto formado por inadaptados e inconformistas. Proveniente de un granero en las llanuras inundables de Botnia en Finlandia occidental, Can Can Heads ha sido una patada en los huevos por más de dos décadas. Se las han arreglado para evitar todo contacto con los reflectores itinerantes de los medios por ir de un margen a otro: punk, no wave, free jazz, noise. Todo esto entra en una licuadora y además hay algo que la banda denomina "Ramones meets Albert Ayler". Otros podrían llamarlo skronk. "Butter Life" no es suave ni cremoso. Chisporrotea y raspa, rastrilla lo-fi con sus uñas desde la escápula hasta la parte baja de la espalda.
