Friends

Hello, and it's time for a new challenge at the Cutie Pie Challenge Blog. Challenge 113 is HERE COMES THE GIRLS.  I used this cute image from Crafty Sentiments named Harriet Friendship.

I colored her with Copics and used my fine white tip pen to give her a few polka dots.
Our sponsor is Crafty Sentiments and the prize is three digi stamps of the winner's choice!

The topic for this month is SPLISH, SPLASH, SPLOSH. The Team has had a great time with the topic and I hope you'll visit The Cutie Pie Challenge Blog and see their creations.  I used this adorable image from Crafty Sentiments Designs named Annabel Mermaid's Hair. The dies I used are: Nellie Snellen oval; QuickKutz pink frame; chair, tiny seashells and sailboat by Impression Obsession; crab by Joy; seagulls, beach umbrella and wave by La La Land; lobster by Memory Box; sailboat by Frantic Stamper; and, seaweed,  jellyfish, seahorse, water by Magnolia.  applied Warm Glitter Ritz with my Sakura glue pen on all of the sea life. The bubbles from the sea life are done with my Folk Art Papier Glass Finish. I colored my image with Copics and covered her entire tail with my clear Wink of Stella pen. I used Versacolor White ink on the waves and then clear embossing over it then applied my Kirarina Wink white on the tip of the waves.

A Pink Christmas

I've had a secret...I've kept IT quiet and didn't say anything until now. I didn't want to announce IT without having something to show for it.  What is the IT?  It's that I'm a CUTIE PIE!!!  I was invited to join The Cutie Pie Design Team and am thrilled to pieces to be on the Team!

This is my first card as a member of the Team. The challenge this month at The Cutie Pie Challenge Blog is PRETTY IN PINK. I love the color pink and pink winter cards are a favorite of mine. There are so many shades of pink, and all so pretty, so this challenge was super easy! I used an image from one of our sponsors, Crafty Sentiments.

I colored my image with Copics and the fur on her ear muffs and hand muff are glittered with Studio G glitter. The snow on the ground is chunky glitter by Darice. I used a Marianne embossing die around my image and used white Stampin' Up ink and then Creations Unlim Embossing Snowdrift embossing powder on the raised areas. The sentiment is a die from the same Marianne set and I used a rub on sentiment by Pebbles.

My snowflake dies are by Memory Box and I inked them with pink ink then embossed them with the same embossing powder. The pink poinsettias are from I Am Roses and the mittens in the bottom left corner are a die by Joy and embossed with the glittery embossing powder, too. I tied a bow with a bit of embroidery floss and glued it on. I used a set of Stampin' Up snowflakes dies for my background paper and used Stampin' Up Winter White embossing powder on them. I used a metal mitten brad in the middle of my pink seam binding bow. My jewels are from Queen & Co.
