Colour renovation: New colour collections are coming

The game of chinese whispers is spreading
& yes the rumours are true.

Stampin' Up! have made a huge announcement regarding their colour families. They are now Colour Collections. They are happening in the States now and we will get them for definite in October for our new Catty!!Here is the lowdown:
Stampin' Up! have conducted lots of surveys and market research in order to come up with this exciting news.We are getting rid of some of the old colours and getting some new colours and also In Colours. We will now only have 4 colour families but woohoo we are also getting new In Colours to be here for 2 years at a time.
We will have Subtles, Brights, Regals and Neutrals. Here are the new families.

New In Color Programme
One part of our Colour Renovation that we’re sure you’re going to love is the new In Color programme. The In Color programme has been a very successful colour programme in other Stampin’ Up! markets, and we are excited to bring it to you! In Colors are a selection of new colours that are introduced every year, in addition to the core colour lines. Each year we will introduce five new In Colors, and they will remain for two years.
Colours that are going...

This means that the 2010-2011 In Colors will be introduced this year, but will not be retired until the 2012-2013 colours are introduced. This year there will be only be five In Colors, but after that, we will always have ten (the previous year’s plus the new). Look for a later announcement on this year’s In Colors.

I hope you like and you won't be too upset as there are loads of great colours coming.

Dont forget that if your favourite ink pads are amongst those being retired then now is the time to buy a full set of reinkers.

Stampin' Up Training

What a wonderful evening we had, though Paula & Kelly had a tough act to follow when we were evacuated from the hotel & the georgous crew from Peterborough fire station attended, they were a lovely bunch even waving for the camera, sadly someone put their head in front of the picture so I cant share it with you.

There was so much talent all in one room I was really inspired by the swaps I received. It is traditional when Stampin' Up demonstrators have a gathering that we make swap cards to share. There is nothing better than a crafty get together.

Here are some of the lovely cards i received, a few Christmas cards in the mix as well.

If you have ever fancied becoming a Stampin' Up demonstrator, then call me for a chat & I will share the benefits with you.

I love being a Stampin' Up demonstrator...............

Stampers 10

Would you like to join a Stampin' Up! Club?

A stamper’s club is an opportunity for you to build up a comprehensive Stampin Up collection over a period of time(either 6 or 10 months) without breaking the bank and ensuring you still receive the fantastic hostess benefits associated with a qualifying order.

You would commit to a ten month membership, agreeing to spend £15 per month from the catalogue. (That’s £3.75 per week - the price of a magazine!) More is allowed, and if you know that you will want to spend at least £30 per month, then you can take two slots

A qualifying order each month has a minimum value of £150.

For this the hostess is eligible to the following FREE benefits:

One level one hostess stamp set of her choice (these are sets that cannot be bought, they can only be earned with qualifying orders of £150 or more)

At least £15.00 worth of free product to be spent in the catalogue

Free catalogue 2008/9

Free mini catalogue

Free postage (hostess month only)

Each month a DIFFERENT member gets to be the hostess and collects all the free benefits associated with that month's total.

I will hold the workshop with make & takes at my home & all you have to do as hostess of the month is to provide soft drink & some nibbles.

If you wish to join the stampers 10 and don’t live locally that’s not a problem, you can still qualify for the hostess benefits.

To run this club we would need either:

10 members to commit for 10 months with a minimum spend of £15.00 plus P&P.

Or

6 members to commit for 6 months with a minimum spend of £25.00 plus P&P

When does it start?
As soon as I have enough members, the club can start - so if you know anyone who would be interested please tell them. Internet access is not essential for membership.

Each month I will run a challenge on my blog. If you send me a picture of what you make with your kit, then your name will be entered into a draw for free goodies from the catalogue

For further information please contact me at lovellsinnorfolk@hotmail.co.uk or

Thank you

My Stampin space

My Stampin up sample board from the workshops I have attended

I have been quietly pottering around in my craft room whilst Abi has been resting, as my craft room is next door to her bedroom.
As I have had a tidy up I took some pictures to show you my Stampin space.

Kitchen tool racks make a great punch storage rack

The ribbon storage racks are from a local craft shop that sadly closed down.

My craft supplies are everywhere.

I really should clean this mess,

but I like it I confess.

Floor is littered, chairs are piled,

Kitchen's looking pretty wild.

On the table, counter too,

Seems that any place will do.

Hall is stacked with cartons high,

filled with things folks like to buy.

Garage is full, but so far....

there's still room to park the car.

I never have an idle day,

New ideas come my way.

Don't know yet what I'll create,

but my imagination's great.

My family smiles, they don't complain,

although at times I am a pain.

but when all is said and done,

I really am a crafty one!
