Paul has been busy

Paul has been busy this morning making up some bracelets

I am loving the bungee style bracelets with the cane slices.

When your wearing hese bracelets they jingle beautifully & are so tactile.

Cha Cha Bracelet

Paul is into jewellery making, especially small & fiddly projects. We first saw these cha cha bracelets at a craft show in Great Yarmouth a few weeks ago & then spent the following weeks trying to find the blanks to make the bracelets. At the bead fair at Newmarket we managed to find a Cha cha blank. Paul made this first prototype bracelet for Abi & she is very much into pearls at the moment.

Our Friend Julie is re-newing her wedding vows in October & she has asked Paul to make her a bracelet the same but in the colours of her dress.

My attempt at jewellery making

I am not a jewellery maker, but I decided to try making my own Bracelet, I love the Links of London sweetie style bracelets so when I saw this blank at the recent Newmarket Bead fair I decided to have a go.

I managed to finish the bracelet & love it but I think I will leave the beading to Paul, I dont think I have the patience for such fiddly things.

Creative weekend

What a creative weekend I managed a bracelet AND 3 layouts, the weather was just devine So inbetween catching some rays, eating fresh Cromer crab with Crusty bread I managed to find some crafting time.
I had a very busy weekstarting last Sunday with a day at Newmarket race course for the bead fair, Sale preview evening until 9pm on Monday & another late night on Tuesday with Stampin' Up regional training at Peterborough it was great to catch up with some fellow demonstrators & swap ideas. So by the time this weekend came I was ready to have some chilled time.

Crafts are here

Crafts are here, crafts are there,

My craft supplies are everywhere.

I really should clean this mess,

but I like it I confess.

Floor is littered, chairs are piled,

Kitchen's looking pretty wild.

On the table, counter too,

Seems that any place will do.

Hall is stacked with cartons high,

filled with things folks like to buy.

Garage is full, but so far....

there's still room to park the car.

I never have an idle day,

New ideas come my way.

Don't know yet what I'll create,

but my imagination's great.

My family smiles, they don't complain,

although at times I am a pain.

but when all is said and done,

I really am a crafty one!
