Another sad loss another two retirees

I am so sorry to see these two sets going, I know we have to clear out the old to make way for the lovely new sets & accessories, or our houses would all need elastic walls. 

Wonderful words is making way for some lovely new greeting sets but that said I will still miss this one & its lovely curly font which is quite like my own writing. Bird on a branch is one of those sets that you could bring out & use for just about every occasion.

The cardstock in this project is Kraft card, Chocolate chip & Taken with teal. Kraft card is being renamed in the new catalogue & is going to be called crumb cake.

The inks are Close to cocoa, Taken with teal, Tempting turquoise Second generation stamped image, Rose red & a Black Journaler pen.

The tools & extras I've used are Crop o dile, Stamp a majig, 1/4" Tempting Turquoise ribbon & Antique Brass jumbo eyelets.

Stampers 10 comes to an end with a fond farewell card

Last nights stampers 10 was the last of this group.
This has been a lovely group of Ladies & most of them have joined the next group that starts on the 16th June.

We used the bird on a branch set & made one Fond farewell card & one using the three newly released colours that form part of the colour renovation.
Fond farewell cardI used the refill inks to make a custom ink pad to colour the bossom on the branches.
I used the cut'n' dry stamp pad felt whilst this isn't a Stampin ' Up product it is well worth thinking about adding it to your regular Stamping kit. The inked pads can be stored in mini ziplock bags & reused. You could allso use the Stampin Up markers to hand colour the stamp for a similar effect.

Day 5 & I am still here & still creating

Well to my amazement I am still managing to create a card a day.

The week got stranger & due to having no staff it was quite tiring so coming home & creating was very relaxing.

But guess what arrived today?

I am loving these punched flowers & using the whole range of the Stampin' up circle punches makes achieving these beautiful very easy indeed & no more searching the house for different sizes of bottle lids or circular items to draw round.

World card making day ~ cards

Saturday was world card making day & it would have been so rude not to have celebrated the day with friends & even ruder if I hadn't designed a couple of card making projects to share with them & you.
