World Card Making Day is a holiday especially for card makers around the world to:

• Celebrate the creativity of handmade cards and the personal connection that they create between friends and family
• Kick off (and get a head start on) the holiday card-making season

The first Saturday of each October, kicking off the holiday card-making season, the most popular time for creating and sharing handmade greetings.

WHO

The card-making community worldwide, including hobbyists, beginning card makers, manufacturers of card-making products, retail sellers of products, educators, and press are invited to come together to celebrate this holiday and creative passion.

Tuesday is Stampin' Up training in peterborough I am quite excited as I have never been to one of these training sessions. One thing that happens when all of the Stampin' Up demo's get together is the have a card swap, so at the moment I am frantically making 25 cards ready for the swap on Tuesday, check back wednesday & I wil upload the cards I receive in the swap to inspire you.

I am lovin this card that I've chosen for the swap that I have decided to use the design as one of my make & takes at my next open house.

I can hear the groans from here, but many of us need to make a start on our Christmas cards, decorations & home made gifts. So I have decided I will do a Christmas In July feature on this blog. Each day I will upload a Christmas card & Recipe made with Stampin' Up sets.
