Stampers 10 cards

This weeks stampers 10 cards are made using a set that is staying with us into the new catalogue, I still have a few sets left to demo, but this is one of the versatile sets that you can adapt to any occasion.
The first card has a Whisper white base, the scalloped border at the bottom is made from Bashful blue designer papers & cut with the scallop border punch.
The nine square are cut from Bashful blue, Ballet Blue & Night of Navy they were cut using  a 1 1/8" square punch I stuck them to the card in a "random organised pattern" I know your thinking how can you have random organisation! ! ! ! Well it's a phrase coined by my lovely ladies. Next I used the three ink colours to stamp the seed head from the Pocket Silhouette stamp set 7 times. 6 were cut out using the 1 1/4" square punch & the 7th was cut using the 1" square punch.
I used the Random organisation method to lay them out on the card with the middle image on the "Huh" another Norfolk word meaning not straight or at an angle. One of my ladies put all hers on the Huh so she didn't have to try & get them all lined up.
The greeting is from the same set & was stamped in Ballet blue on the Whisper white card stock & punched using the Word window punch.

Again the base of this card was Whisper White, I actually managed to cut both card blanks from 1 single sheet of A4 card.
The Regal Rose Grosgrain ribbon was tied around the Bashful blue panel before we stuck it onto the card.
We stamped three images of the grass stamp from the Pocket Silhouettes set one in each colour Rich Razzleberry, melon mambo & pretty in Pink. Each image was then trimmed to the same size and matted onto cardstock of the matching colour. The matted images were adhered using Stampin' Dimensional's to give the card some depth.
The greeting was from the Pocket Silhouette set  & stamped onto Whisper white card with Rich Razzleberry ink and cut out using the Word window punch.. Then mounted on a scallop oval of Rich Razzleberry card, the decorations are Vintage brads.

So glad that this set isn't retiring, it's a little bit like your old comfy slippers, safe & comfortable. Talking of slippers isn't it cold & have mine on already & the heating.................Even all the cats are coming home every night now.

One set & three cards

Pocket Silhouettes a lovely set & it is not retiring, so I have mixed it with some of the lovely new renovation colours Soft Suede, Melon Mambo & Rich Razzleberry

Kraft card which is being renamed Crumb Cake, Melon Mambo. The inks are whisper White & Melon Mambo & Old Olive. The effect was achieved by Stamping a mask out of post it note paper using the 1 1/4" circle punch & stamped around the circle in the middle of the card first using the White ink & then changing stamps & using the Melon Mambo stamp around the circle at random intervals. When you remove the mask it leaves a blank circle in the middle that you could stamp a sentiment in as it looks like a wreath. I chose to stamp my sentiment from Spotlight on Christmas I used  Old olive ink onto the Kraft card & used the 1 1/4" circle punch to punch out the sentiment & used Stampin' dimensional's to pop the sentiment.

The card base is Soft suede another of the yummy new colours, the images are stamped in a fan shape onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Soft suede, Old Olive & Melon Mambo ink.
The stamped image is matted onto Kraft card. The scallop border & Scallop Oval are punched from Rich Razzleberry card. Using The Paper piercing tool I pierced each scallop & popped it up on Stampin' Dimensionals. The Thanks so much sentiment is from the Pocket Silhouettes stamp set is stamped in Old Olive onto Kraft card & mounted using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I love this one it looks so fresh & really pops off the page, three completely different cards for different occasions & all from a single set. For this card I have used Old Olive, Melon mambo & Kraft card. A very simple card. The stamped layer uses the corner rounder minus the guard to clip the corners.

The last of the morning cards

This card uses the very versatile Pocket Silhouettes set, a set i find I dont use enough. The butterflies are from the Flight of the Butterfly. The vase is made from the oval punch with the ends nipped back through the punch to cut the top & bottom.
can you guess how the scalloped background was made?
It was made from 6 scallop squares cut from Chocolate Chip & glued together being overlaid by just one scallop of the scalloped squares.
All of the above products are from Stampin' Up & are available to purchase through me.

Birdhouse box ~ Experience day project

Here is one of the morning projects that we made on the 2nd Stampin' Up experience day.
To decoarte the box which we did before we assembled it we used Flight of the butterfly & bird on a branch with Pocket silhouettes for the floral decoration.
It was lovely to see the boxes as they evolved as everyone put there own personal stamp ( excuse the pun ) on the project.

The cardstock colours are Close to cocoa & Pretty in pink. Dont forget to check back during the week when I will share the rest of the projects that we made.

All of the above products are available from Stampin' Up & can be purchased through me.

Looking back over the last couple of posts I can see a common theme running through all of the cards I have made for the samples over the last few days.
Can you see what it is?

The change in colour palette, without being consious of the change in seasons I have changed my colour palette in the recent samples.

A few more cards using pocket silhouettes set

Loads of love is a favourite set of mine, so versatile for so many differe

Stampers 10

How can someone who is soooooooooooo good also be so bad?

Last night our Stampers 10 group met and Michelle our demonstrator is so good to us and made a fabulous gift bag and a set of three cards, they were so much fun and everyone loved the project.
Despite a collective intake of breath the cards were much easier than they looked at first glance.

So you're all wondering how she is so bad. Well Michelle is so good at her job and designs fabby projects for us to make, but at the same time she makes our wish lists grow with new sets we hadn't noticed and yummy colour combinations that take us out of our white / cream comfort zone.

The set is by Stampin up and is Pocket Silouettes

Thank you Michelle we loved this 3D project.
Roll on next Friday when I am having a Christmas themed Stampin up party.

Crafts are here

Crafts are here, crafts are there,

My craft supplies are everywhere.

I really should clean this mess,

but I like it I confess.

Floor is littered, chairs are piled,

Kitchen's looking pretty wild.

On the table, counter too,

Seems that any place will do.

Hall is stacked with cartons high,

filled with things folks like to buy.

Garage is full, but so far....

there's still room to park the car.

I never have an idle day,

New ideas come my way.

Don't know yet what I'll create,

but my imagination's great.

My family smiles, they don't complain,

although at times I am a pain.

but when all is said and done,

I really am a crafty one!
