I spotted new Revlon ColorStay in the newly opened CVS near my work. Usually, all the pretty polishes in the local CVS near me are sold out by the time I get there. This time I was able to pick up some new lovely shades I haven’t seen in the other stores.
One of them was Passionate Pink – bright pink jelly. It is a very lovely summer shade that would look cool on the toes. The formula is totally different from the older Revlon polishes as well as the packaging and the brush. I like the new formula it dries fast, but not runny. The only thing I don’t like is the new brush – it is a little wide the size of my nails.
For the decoration I used golden stud rhinestones I got on eBay.

A-England Princess Tears
Princess Tears is a subtle gracious lilac holo with dusty grey flashes. It doesn’t have a screaming holographic effect, but slight grey base shows under the certain light as a touch of sadness.

Mr.Mustache Manicure
Some time ago I got cool mustache and goggles water decals. I had some time this weekend, so I thought I would try them out.
The application is very easy – you have to sink it in water and apply it to your nail. Then accurately move decals to the proper place. Apply 1-2 coats of the topcoat and…Done!
Mustache decals fit perfectly, but goggles are a little too big for my nails. I ordered standard “adult“ size, but next time I will try “child” size.
I got my decals on eBay for less than 2$. There are 20 of them in the pack. The seller also has cool Fedora Hat decals. You can check it here.

Lynnderella Boy-Girl Party
This week I’m cheating a little bit for Pink Wednesday J.
Lynnderella Boy-Girl Party is a square and hexagon glitter top coat consisting of blue and pink particles. It really feels like party on the nails.
Technically, I still have pink in my manicure, so it’s not 100% cheatingJ . As a base I used Royal Orchid by Priti NYC that is also dark burnt mauve pink. Surprisingly, Boy-Girl Party made the base look darker and more purple.

Pretty & Polished Candy Coated
Happy Pink Wednesday everyone!
I feel like this week will be indie nail polish week J I have so many gorgeous new polishes to show you and Candy Coated is one of them.
Candy Coated is a beautiful pink crème with purple glitter. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. I found it on Etsy where I’ve been buying a lot of my new polishes lately. I love the fact that you can find something new and fresh, yet equally, if not more beautiful than what you can get in the store.
Another pleasant thing is the smooth formula of many custom blends. Candy Coated application is extremely smooth. It is also quite well pigmented, so I applied 2 coats.
You can check Pretty & Polished store here. I ordered polishes in mini-size to try out and I regret it right not, because I should definitely get the bigger bottleJ

OPI Rally Pretty Pink
OPI Rally Pretty Pink is a truly royal pink with tons of golden shimmer. It has so much shimmer in it that it gives a duochrome effect to the nail polish. I wouldn’t say that this polish is a duochrome by itself though.
Rally Pretty Pink is a part of Serena Williams for OPI Slam Glam collection. It was supposed to be a base for the red shatter. For me, it didn’t work at all. Somehow, I thought that these 2 were not complimenting each other at all. Plus, I didn’t like red shatter idea.

Pink Wednesday: Bourjois 1 Seconde #2 Nameless Nail Polish
The name of this post says it all. I really don’t know what is the name of this Bourjois nail polish. I don’t even think any of them have names. There’s only #2 label on the bottle. So, let’s call it #2.
This is 1 Seconde nail polish that is supposed to dry in less than 1 minute ( 50 seconds if to be precise). You can see all the shades here.
In general, I’m very disappointed with it. It doesn’t dry in 1 minute, not even in 2. The application is streaky, maybe because of the specifics of this color.
The color itself is nice, but the brush is way too wide and it’s hard not to paint the cuticle.

Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Lavender Marquis
Happy Pink Wednesday everyone!
Sally Hansen Lavender Marquis is one of those shades that are extremely easy to wear. This nail polish is appropriate for almost any occasion…ok, maybe except of the Goth parties. It is also a perfect choice for the French manicure.
Lavender Marquis is a light shimmery pink-lilac duochrome. The formula is very smooth and it dries very fast without the top coat.

Pink Wednesday Post: China Glaze Don't be a Square
This Pink Wednesday is a little retro for me. I digged this polish out at my mom's house.I don't remember why I left it there, maybe I just forgot it. Besides, I didn't post China Glaze swatches for a while...and I feel guilty, because I really like this brand.
This is the first holographic polish I bought and one of my all time favorites.
Don't be a Square is a pink holographic polish from China Glaze's Kaleidoscope Collection. Nothing fancy nowadays, right? But in 2009 this collection was quite a big hit.
It still pops up on eBay from time to time, but the price is very unattractive:)

Pink Wednesday - Wet'n Wild Hannah Pinkata
Happy Pink Wednesday Everyone!
This is my recent nail polish find Hannah Pinkata from Wet’n Wild. It’s a jelly burnt pink glitter with magenta notes. I like the fact that it’s not a demanding nail polish. You can quickly apply it and in less than 2 minutes you are ready to go. It dries very fast and stays long on the nails.
Although it looks opaque in the bottle, one coat is almost transparent. I applied 3 coats to get what you see in the pictures.
The formula is the same as Ocean Breeze (you can find swatches here). Remember that it’s not a 3-Free nail polish, so apply a base coat, otherwise nails get yellow.

Pink Wednesday - Golden Rose Burgundy Holographic
I didn’t think that I would actually have enough pink nail polishes for more than 2-3 Pink Wednesdays. Turned out I have a lot more..
This is another Golden Rose Holographic that I recently bought – Burgundy 108. This company really surprises me with the quality of the polish compared to the price. To my regret I already own enough other holographic polishes to cover most of their shade palette.
Burgundy is a dark wine pink holographic nail polish that have a lot of holo particles. The formula is better than that of some of the much more expensive well-known brands. It has a smooth finish, quite pigmented formula and doesn’t chip at least for 2-3 days.
You can find my other Golden Rose Holographic polish swatches and reviews here and here.

Pink Wednesday: OPI Peach-A-Boo over Sparrow Me Drama
Hi All,
This Wednesday I’m wearing gentle pink creme Sparrow me Drama with one coat of Peach-A-Boo for some shimmery finish.
I really like the way it turned out: shimmer top coat gives a nice flirty sparkle for a very classic subtle pink.
This is Sparrow Me Drama without the shimmer top coat.

Pink Wednesday: Nubar Charmeuse
Hello Girls,
I have to stock up on pinks, because I’ running out and it’s only a second week. I’m not a big pink fan, so I don’t have that many J
Today’s Pink Wednesday I celebrate with Nubar Charmeuse – probably the most perfect subtle pink-mauve I have ever seen. I was searching for this particular shade for a long time, but all nail polishes I have in this shade are not exactly what I wanted.
The flower decal I used is the most annoying thing ever. The corners just don’t stick to the nail even with the glue and top coat. But on the other hand, what can you expect if you buy a huge pack of those for a cheapest price ever.
