An oldie from DigiSatmp Boutique

Hello Everyone,
I have a card to share today that I made for my Dad's birthday (which was yesterday). At 83 my Dad loves spending time in his greenhouse but unfortunately I didn't have a stamp with a greenhouse on it - so I had to make do with a garden shed!
This is very old stamp from DigiStamp Boutique ( I do miss Sally Anne's images)

I've coloured him with promarkers and copics. The papers are from my box of scraps and I've used a Lawn Fawn sun die, Memory Box puffy cloud dies and a die-namics picket fence die. The sentiment is computer generated.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog and for all your comments and encouragement.

Elbow Grease - Lili of the Valley DT

Hello everyone,
I was hoping to get some crafty time during the school holidays, but it's not  happening! The day after we got back from our holiday to Wales, we had to take Emma to a 4 day cricket festival in Malvern. She had an amazing time playing against Ireland and Kent. We had a lovely time watching all the cricket too - the college is set in beautiful grounds and the weather was gorgeous. Since then, she's played in Durham, Scarborough, Bradford, basically cricket has hijacked my holidays, (I've had 3 days at home in 3 weeks!) not only is she playing for numerous teams, she has now decided to start coaching and is helping out with the Under 11's.
Inbetween all the cricket it was my Dad's birthday last Thursday and I very quickly cobbled together a card for him. I've used a brilliant stamp from Lili of the Valley. This is Elbow Grease.

I've coloured him with promarkers and copics. The background papers are from Make & Create. I've used a cog die from Joy!crafts and added card candy in the centre. I found a piece of hessian to add texture and used a computer generated sentiment.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:-

Football Boy - Lili of the Valley DT

Good Morning Everyone,
I actually have a weekend with no cricket, other than going to watch and the odd net session! I thought I would have lots of time to do a bit of crafting. It's gone 11am already and all I have achieved is filling up the washing machine and switching it on! Crafting...mmm....no!
This card is one of those that I kept picking up, doing 10 minutes, then another day, another 10 minutes so it took nearly a week to make. It's from the latest release at Lili of the Valley and is called Football Boy.

I've coloured him with copics and promarkers and again the background papers are from my box of scraps. I really need to try and use these up, they are taking over my desk!
I've used a Memory Box puffy clouds die, a Lawn Fawn sunshine die, a Die-namics picket fence die and an embossed labels sentiment from Lili of the Valley.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:-

Little Snail - Lili of the Valley DT

Good morning everyone,
It's a very exciting day for all you Lili of the Valley lovers out there. There are two live shows on The Craft Store (Hochanda), today at 9am and 1pm with the gorgeous Dawny P.
The plan was to make lots of samples to take to the shows but unfortunately work and Emma's cricket got in the way. I did make a couple and this is one of them.
I've used a fabulous boys image called 'Little Snail'.

I decided to make a larger card today so this is an 8" square card.  I've coloured him with promarkers.  The background paper is a scenic piece of card from Kanban that has been sat in a drawer for years! I've used Memory Box cloud dies and a Creative expressions winter tree die that I cut from green card and added a little bit of extra colour with promarkers. I added a die-namics fence die and the plant and watering can are from a First Edition set. I used an x-cut punch for the flowers and added pearls to the centre. The sentiment is Lili of the Valley - embossed labels.

I'm at work today so my tape is set to record the live shows with Dawny.  I'm looking forward to sitting down with a G & T after Emma's cricket training and watching the shows.
