Kraftin Kimmie Saturday Challenge - Summer

This is my last creation for my month as GDT at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I've had a wonderful month and have loved being part of such a great team. Thank you so much for having me. 

This week's Saturday Challenge has the theme 'Summer'. I know you'll laugh at my choice of image - Rainy Day Lulu - but I do live in the UK so rain is usually a part of our summer! I love this image so couldn't resist using her again.

I started off making a clean and simple card ...... then decided some sunshine would be nice

 ......... well you can't have sunshine without a bit of blue sky 

.......... but she wouldn't have her umbrella up in the sunshine ..... so better add some rain clouds 

Bang goes the clean and simple card - but I love how it turned out. That mix of weather is so true of a British Summer time.\

Well here we are - my final creation as part of the April New Release. Today it's time for the massive Blog Hop and I decided to go full on and create a scene for Cinderella. I was intending making a clean and simple card but sort of got carried away! I drew the steps myself and sort of made it up from there!

I'll admit I'm really pleased with how it turned out. It's more vibrant and sparkly in real life, but hopefully it shows well enough in the photos.

I used Sakura Glaze pens, Sakura Tiara Pens and Clear Wink of Stella to add shimmer and sparkle to her dress.

Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Release - Day 4 - Puddle Pals

Welcome Day FOUR of the APRIL Release

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Can you believe that the springtime sweetness that just keeps on comin'!!?

Today is the final day of peeks and the release party is this afternoon at 2pm EST on Facebook! Our final set is from artist Emilie Goulet! 

It's called PUDDLE PALS!!

This sweet set features two main images of some super adorable woodland creatures in the rain! It also comes with two coordinating sentiments!

It's also challenge day and our hostess is Krafty Girl, Jammie! And as always during release week, the challenge is ANYTHING GOES! I decided to make something different today - a bookmark for my diary. I've had a diary from The Bright Side for the last two years - not because I keep track of dates in it - but because the fun things on the days make me laugh so much! What better than to have a Puddle Pal to help mark my place?

Here's what I created with Rainy Day Lulu. I used the April Sketch to help design my card.

Here's her close up. I love this stamp so much as it's such a lovely image. 

I added small drops of Stardust Stickles to the rain droplets so it really looks as if it's wet as it falls.

I used papers from the Echo Park Splendid Sunshine pack and the Kraftin Kimmie April Sketch. I edged the shapes with Copics to coordinate them with the image.

The first stamp set we are sharing with you might look a little familiar because you may have seen a little peek of this gorgeous new set by artist Annie Rodrigue! It just happens to be the Secret Krafty Klub set that we sent out to the members in February!

It's SNOW WHITE!

What a precious scene of this sweet princess with her woodland friends! It's a beautiful big image to colour up along with three sweet new sentiments! And think of the fabulous scenes you could make with clouds and grass and some background dies and stamps!!

Yellow-ish Challenge with Kraftin Kimmie

Eeeeekkk!!! I can't believe it, but it's April and my GDT month at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

I've loved Kraftin' Kimmie's images for ages so to be picked to have a GDT spot is a dream come true. There are exciting things coming up during the month with a new release in the middle of the month and challenges on Saturdays and Wednesdays. I'm planning on joining in as many as I can.

So here we go - my first GDT creation  - for the challenge Yellow-ish.
