HAPPY VALENTINES DAY to one and all... I saved a lot of the tags for the last day... sending you lots of love and more than enough to share with ALL... so spread it around... make valentines for all you know... LOVERS day... So lets begin...
First off... these tags are all for the Challenge of GRUNGY MONDAY!!! Linda has asked that we use some of Tim's things... including techniques... love them... so that is NO PROBLEM at all...
I am sure you know what fun it is to share ideas and how to do's... well I had fun sharing how to make foil flowers using Tattered Floral die (Tim Holtz Line!! ) and foil.... along with some trusty alcohol inks...(Tim Holtz Line! ) so many of us buy things and then don't use them... as they don't know what to use them on!!! Well the foil came from Home Depot... it is heat duck tape... and I put the tape onto card stock and then cut it out... with tattered floral die... Tim's die cut... love that one...
Then using alcohol inks to color the flowers prior to 'curling' them... After all that is done... stack with glue in between for the perfect flower... wow... how easy and what fun!!!
I also used a piece of tissue with music on it... (Idea-ology tissue ) and the background of the tag... I used dabber snow white and then I used an Impression Obsession stamp and stamped it onto the tag... then using my blending tool I used a distress ink and rubbed it all over the tag... then with a damp cloth wiped the stamping ... the white POPS... love it... try it... it is easy and you will love it...
Another technique that Tim has used over the past months here... and I happen to love it... I shared it with you in January... and it is using a piece of plastic... covering it with alcohol inks.. and then using a BLACK archival ink pad... you stamp and wipe quickly... and you get a release of the alcohol ink in the stamped area... MAGIC!!! LOVE IT...
So I took a piece of plastic sheet (recycled packaging bin... huge pile now)
and covered it with alcohol ink... and then used these cute little butterflies as the subject... put some glossy paper behind the plastic and then used some copper tape for the edges... I popped the plastic onto this piece of paper to make a 'flower' box type of thing... as the heart is a tag unto its self!!!
A close up will show you a little better...
The butterfly is a spellbinder and then a few gem stones... for the center part...
A little Martha Stewart punching of hearts gives it a finished touch...
of course the tag I made with my distress inks in the mini misters... with some perfect pearls added.. love all of mine... I can never have too many... a little bit here and there on all things...
This was another fun tag.. ( I really don't have too many tags that I make that I dont' have fun making... but this one was really fun... I used some My Minds eye paper... and created a pocket for the Hearted tag to fit into...
A butterfly with some distress Stickles... and vintage clip art... what more could you want...
The tag area coming out of the pocket...
I did use my distress inks in the mini misters to create most of my background on these tags... as I have a huge stock pile of tags that NEED to be used!!! Love making papers at certain times...
My little cupid tag...
Is this cupid cute or what...
It came from the Kaiser Paper pad... as did the bird with the envelope of love letters and the flowers... it was all there... just had to cut it out...
At the bottom I added a ruffle of Tim's tissue paper and then a row of paper lace hearts...
Also another fractual charm... and some white flowers...
A clip on the side holds some hearts that my dear friend Mary Taylor gave to me... thanks Mary.. I love them...
When Mary and Victoria were here playing, Mary used a set of these adorable hearts on a tag she was creating... but she wanted the hearts to be gold... so she simply used some embossing ink and then dipped them into gold embossing powder and created GOLDEN HEARTS for her pretty tag...
I am again apologizing that I didnt take pictures of the pretty tags that each gal made... we had so much fun and I simply just plain forgot to take pictures of any type... so very sorry to you and also to them... NEXT time MAYBE they will remind me... PLEASE do... My mind seems to be forgetting some things to share...
A really simple quick and easy tag... a little spritzing of the mini misters to create the background color... and then some vintage clip art... I also used some Kaiser papers for this one... and they had some wonderful tags etc in this pad... I have to tell you that I won a couple of weeks at Simon Says Stamp and Show... and they have a wonderful store... yikes... so very complete... and I chose this pad of paper.. it is delightful... the papers are sweet and wonderfully vintage and pretty...
One of my more favorite tags... as the papers that I used are so very pretty... each and every one of them... I started off with some Victorian Velvet ink and also some perfect pearls in a mini mister.. and I sprayed my worksheet... and the paper is yummy plus... then I cut my tag out of the best part... then I created the little circle paper by the dabber release method explained above and rubbed three different colors of distress inks on the paper.. then I sprayed the entire paper with Perfect Pearls mist.... Oh wow!! what pretty piece of paper... then I cut it out with a Spellbinder... added the vintage clip art ... and had my center piece... A little butterfly action... and of course some seam binding ribbon....
At the top there are two fractuals that I created with the Alcohol release... love the way that they just add so much to the tag... (not the best of pictures ... but hopefully you can see them... so very sorry... )
The background paper was a favorite piece.. and I had just enough to cut this circle out!!! Love it... many layers of inks, and perfect pearls...
Another favorite... Love the pinks in this tag... Anyway.. .I did create a nice tag and then I had to use this piece of paper that I created with the dabber and Victorian Velvet ink... over that I put a square using Martha's heart punches... and the vintage clip art... I used some idea-ology with the heart lock plate and the key... and then created my fractuals using the alcohol release method... love doing that...
When you are creating these fractuals... use some stamps that have detail... but flower 'scenes' are great to use... the whole scene doesn't have to be n the fractual... (Fractuals are pieces of plastic that are in the Idea-ology line by Tim Holtz..)
The stamp used here was four times the size of this fractual... I only used a small section of the stamp to stamp with...
So very much fun to create your own charms and embellishments...
Have a super Happy Valentines DAY... and may each day that follows be just as loving for you too...
Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie

Victorian Boots and Flowers
I have collected old timey clip art for years.. and each time I go to use it I decide not to... for some silly reason... but I am totally enjoying using it on these Valentine tags... Hope you are enjoying it too...
This tag was a real pleasure to create... I loved making the background... I used my distress inks and colored it... then I used Impression Obsession stamps to stamp the background two times... not once... but twice!!! Crackle and also words.. love it... how neat is that....
Then I added the two bottom borders.. one of paper hearts and the other of Idea-ology trim... and then made a few flowers for the top with a baby wipe... and added the clip art..
Just another view so you can see the bow, flowers and background a little better...
So did you have a fun day today... hope you do... and that you have created something special...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit here at Love, Light and Peace... I really do appreciate all your support and comments... thanks again.

Flower Box
When I start out to create a project... I generally never know what I am going to do... this was truly the case with this tag... I wanted to use the pictures I had in my hand... and that was it...
The rest just took time to pick and choose...
Our son when we was over in Germany wanted to get me something that I would totally enjoy.. so he bought me these Prima flowers... I love them for this little Flower box that I created...
Okay... lets talk about the background first... I used an Impression Obsession 6x6 stamp... and used Iced Spruce Distress Ink Pad... and then added the Victorian Velvet around the edges... soft and pretty...
I used a couple of Vintage clip art pictures... and then wanted to have some paper flowers... so I added the heart border (Martha Stewart Deep cut punch) and I popped it... and so there was room to create the Flower box look... I added the carnations as a back drop effect..
When everything was glued down ... I added some Distress Stickles around the edge of the picture and also around the carnations... love that stuff... just a little goes a LONG way... Added some at the top with my seam binding that was dyed to match the edges of the tag...
All very easy and I forgot to add one important fact... the heart 'flower box' is very very glossy... I created that by using white embossing powder and then a couple of coats of Melt Art Ultra Thick Embossing powder. So it has an enameled effect... love that look...
As you can see here the heart sort of flairs outward to give a flower box look... love it when something happens to benefit the look you are trying to achieve...
Also this tag was created with the theme this week of HEART!!! for the Sunday Stamper... please take a little time and check out this fun site... Hels Sheridan is a really wonderful person with a lot of talent... so please take a look see...
A better look at the glitters and also the heart...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit and a look see... hope to see you again tomorrow too...
Enjoy your day...

The Queen of Hearts in all her Glory
WOW.... prior to seeing this months challenge (At the ALTERED ALICE site ) I saw that I had won the challenge from last month... yikes... what a wonderful gift too... check out the site and see what I won... Jenny Doh is sending me the prize... so it is going to be GREAT... you know that even before you go and see what it is...
The Altered Alice Challenge this month is HEARTS!!!!
Wow... who else would be featured than the Queen her self... the RED QUEEN that is...
I loved the queens that were done with the stamps on the site... and have to have a Queen with heart eye lashes... so here is my queen that I drew for this challenge...
I used markers and fun... and loved using all the GEM STONES for accents... what fun...
I started off with a white tag... and ran it thru my embossing folder by Cuttlebug ... the one with the hearts... and then used a Victorian Velvet Distress ink pad and colored it...
Then spritzed it with a Perfect Pearl mist... Biscotti... love the softness of that one... anyway... then I drew the queen and colored her...
I used the Martha Stewart Heart punch set to create the details on the Queens color... and also on the top of the tag... I used a gem stones for all the glimmer and glam on here... and love it... what fun this Queen is to do... I made her a little more reserved in this one tag... but looks can always be deceiving... as we all know... so beware of her!!!
Hope you have a fun day... mine is off to a good start and it is almost time for dinner... and I don't know where the day has gone!!!
But it has been fun...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and see you again in a few minutes with another challenge...

Daisy Love
Well for those who know me... my very favorite flower is a daisy... so this is a very favorite tag... to say the very least... I had a lot of fun creating this one too...
The background... I used some ink on a worksheet and created the background.. .then I ran it thru a Cuttlebug Embossing folder and then used Iced Spruce ink pad and ran it over the raised flowers... love it... very easy and effective in my mind...
Then I made three more pieces of colored paper only I used a thin cardstock.. and made the papers for the banners on the top and bottom of the tag... they are all different blues... as I made each color by blending the colors on my worksheet and smearing the paper into the inks... love the results...
Then I cut out the little flags and glued them onto the hemp cord... Okay... the circle of hearts is a spellbinder and it was cut out of the heating and vent tape... (refer to the 23rd of January about the tape) and how to do it...
I used a Martha Stewart fence punch and then I inked and sprayed it with Perfect Pearls mists.... I used a couple of colors... and love the richness of the fence...
The bottom banner was cut and then folded... and the little saying was put onto it... a little seam binding bow... and I was done...
The vintage print is so cute... love these two playful children... and the DAISIES... LOVE THEM too...
Well thanks for stopping by for a visit... and hope that you have enjoyed yourself... I love you stopping by... and tomorrow there will be another Valentine tag... so come on back to see it...
Have a GREAT day... create some more love and then plan on who to give it too... I have piles of tags that will go to certain people... and hopefully they will love them all...

Collecting
Another fun tag...
As you know I love to make papers... most of my work is created with 100% white cardstock... this is 100% white cardstock... plus the vintage clip art...
Okay... so I used some Twinkling H20's for the background tag... then I used some Mini misters with a darker turquoise ink and created the background behind the punch work...
I used a Martha Punch set to create that... and then put the picture in the middle of it...
I used Iced spruce ink pad to create my ribbon... and then tied it around the tag... It just needed something more... but I didn't want too much of anything... so this was just what I needed to finish this one off...
Come on back tomorrow for some more Valentines tags... I am on a roll... loving it too... what fun... I have not used any RED paper yet... and might not...
Hope you have a fun day... and that you can create something fun too... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Scarf Dancer
Some of these tags might not seem like "Valentine" tags.. but they are .. they are made with love for someone else.. .and the theme is something that they loved... or love... so they are Valentine tags...
Our son loves the movie Moulin Rouge... and so I just had to make a few tags with that theme... even though this woman is not from Moulin Rouge, I loved her... and love the flowing of her dance... so she won the place on this tag...
The background was made with Weather Wood Distress Ink and then I used some Perfect Pearl Mist over the top of that...
Then I used a Impression Obsession stamp to create the swirling flow over the top of that...
Then I took another piece of card stock and painted it with twinkling H20's... and it really is a lot prettier in real life, than it is here... it looks flat here... but it glimmers and sparkles in real time... I cut it out with a Spellbinder die... and allowed this pretty little miss to dance thru and around it...
Of course I dyed my same binding and added the words... and was done...
I love these vintage pictures.. they really are quite challenging to cut out... but still fun to use. Hope you have a fun day planned and it includes creating something special... I have a few more things to create today... Thanks for stopping by for a visit... hope to see you tomorrow... Love, Light and Peace..Bonnie

Just a tiny little glass of wine
Background... Using A distress ink pad, I smeared it onto my worksheet.. and then misted it lightly... and took my tag and rubbed it into the inks.. I think I used Victorian Velvet, and a little bit of Spun Sugar. then I used some Perfect Pearls Mist over the entire tag... again grabbing a few colors and misting... then using my heat gun to dry...
Okay... then I grabbed some of my stamps... wanted that olde Vintage look of the paper... so I used my crackle stamp 6x6 from Impression Obsession... and some Vintage Photo Distress ink and created this look... I used a tiny little stamp by Tapestry Stamps for the leaf border... and also some black archival ink that was there on my worktable... things are used that are handy... and it was left there... so it got used... Then I cut out my vintage clip art... and glued that down...
Then I wanted to do some tiles... so I grabbed the fractual Idea-o logy squares and put alcohol inks on them... I used Latte, Hazelnut and a little red... can't remember the name of it... anyway wanted a little of that... it only takes a few minutes (seconds actually ) for the inks to dry...
Then using a Black Archival ink pad, I inked up my Tapestry flowers and inked onto the alcohol ink... and then as quickly as you stamp you wipe it off... and you have the imprint of the stamp... it is so wild...
You might have to look hard.. but there is alittle flower in the upper right hand corner... and a larger flower in the lower middle of the tile... then I flipped the fractual over and stamped a dragonfly with the black archival ink... and allowed it to dry... You should try this... you can use any kind of plastic... even cut up a sheet of packaging... it all works... then you adhere to a sheet of glossy white paper... I used Glossy accents to glue it down... (good glue to use for so many projects)
I used a few different size tiles for this tag... all are so much fun to create... have to use this more often...
I guess you can use different backgrounds for different looks too... think I will try some metallic ones next!!! That should be fun... maybe use my silver foil and a little alcohol ink on that... wow... I will have to play some more with these little tiles... also some plastic recyclable sheets... always love to recycle.
Have a fun day... create something fun. and TOTALLY enjoy yourself.. even inky messes... Thanks for stopping by... more on the way for tomorrow... so please stop back... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Love on a Swing
This is one of my daughters favorite pictures as a teenager... so I had to use this cute loving picture on a tag for her. I started off with a manilla tag (which I don't use that often..) and I embossed it with this cuttlebug embossing folder.. I happen to love this one a lot, as I love flowers... and this Asian folder also happens to be a large one... so the entire tag fits into it... love that too...
Then I used my worksheet... do you have one... ??? If not it is a really great investment... I use it all the time... in fact over by my inking area it is taped to the top of the table... someday I will share my studio with you again... I am always moving things around... re-organizing...
Anyway... I then used my worksheet... and sprayed some Raisin color wash by Ranger and then also some Victorian Velvet that I had mixed into a mini Mister ... after spraying onto the worksheet, I lightly misted with some water... very fine misting... and then swirled my tag into the inks... Then I dried with the heat gun... and then misted with some perfect pearl misters... I do know that I grabbed a few... colors??? just use what ever color you have or grab.... they are all pretty...
Then I created the stacked love... using the silver foil... (refer to Jan 23rds post) and a little square stamp that I love. WOMAN... so cute.
There you have it... a loving tag... oh yes... I happen to love to cut things out... did you notice that?? LOL... if there was a machine that did all the cutting that I do... I think I would still cut out with my scissors... which I use a couple of pairs of different scissors... but my favorite are my Fiskars... just bought another pair... as mine tend to get a little gooey... all chunked up with glue and other adhesives... Oh yes I have the ones that say that they will never get all gooey... but mine are!!! Not kidding... I must have at least 8 pairs of scissors that I can not use due to that...
Here is the bottom half of the tag enlarged for you to see the details on the stamp...
Hope you have a fun day... Valentines day is not far away ... so if you haven't started to make that special someone a Valentine you better get started...
Thanks for stopping by to see mine... see you tomorrow??? Hope so... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie
A Loving Kiss
This was a really fun tag to create... I love making intricate backgrounds for the Vintage Clip art...
I started off with some ink on my worksheet... and then used a distress ink pad (vintage photo) on a 6x6 Impression Obsession stamp... love these things... can hardly wait to get my hands on some new ones...
Then also took the script 6x6 and stamped in the corner... the rest of the tag was all fun too... I took some silver tape (refer to Jan 23 post) and a heart spellbinder and created the frame for this sweet vintage picture... added a little seam binding with some iced spruce ink pad... and then added the shoe...
The dimension on this picture is really great... had to use this one...
Hope you find this a fun technique to do... simple and effective.
Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by to see my Valentine tag... come back tomorrow for another one!!! Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

King and Queen of Valentines
Oh what a fun 'holiday' we have coming up.. VALENTINES DAY!!! I love it... the best holiday of the year for me... (actually they all are... I love each and every one of them.. )
Anyway... This week on Simon Says Stamp and Show... they have asked to show a King and Queen... so here is mine...
The King and Queen of Valentines Day... a vintage print from Kaiser Paper... and I used a Spellbinder heart die on the background... and then a little butterfly... Of course I used all my Distress inks on the back ground... and then ran thru a cuttlebug embossing folder... and rubbed distress inks over the embossing... what fun...
Thanks for taking a look see... hope you will check back in each day to see more Valentine Tags.. I am putting up one a day until February 14th... Happy Valentines Day to you...

Pretty Flowers
The back ground of this tag was so very easy... I smeared white craft glue all over a tag... then used some of Tim Holtz's tissue and crinkled up a width of the paper.. and put it onto the tag... let it dry a little and then used a Distress ink pad and rubbed it over the edges and where I wanted some color... easy peasy!!!!
Then I made some little flowers using Tattered Floral die cut from Tim too... and used some baby wipes for the paper that I used to make the flowers... love these soft little flowers... and the paper is never ever like any other paper... really wild.
Looking from the top of the tag to the bottom, you can see that I snugged each flower into a crevice of the tissue paper... love that effect... dont' you???
The richness of the color of the flowers is so like Valentines day roses too... don't know what I cleaned up... but I would guess it was Raisin Color wash!!! What do you think???
Okay... a little vintage clip art... a Valentine clown... love her...
The heart is an old stamp??? Can't remember what company it is from... as I took all the wood off all my stamps about 5-6 years ago... as I needed room, so I could buy more!!! I used some Clear Rock Candy Distress stickles...on the flowers and colored the stamp with some markers...
The forever came from Tim's newest Valentine stamp... and then made the banner for it... a pretty flower tag...
See you tomorrow... and thanks for coming by to see what I created... another fun one tomorrow... see you then... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie...

Layer upon layer
Layer upon Layer of petty coats, and also paper on this tag... I used a technique using a spritzer bottle of water and also some mini misters to create the back ground... and then did the same on another piece of paper that I ran thru an embossing folder... (flowers) and then used another piece of paper that I had colored with Twinkling H20's for the heart Punch...
You can see the twinkling of the paints here... really fun to use... and the effects are truly a lot better in real life!!! the whole tag glimmers... as I gave the whole background a spritz also with some Perfect Pearls mists... love them...
Another tag for my son...
Thanks for visiting me... and see you tomorrow too... love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Moulin Rouge
Our son Loves the movie Moulin rouge... so I decided to do a few tags for him of Moulin Rouge... I love these old vintage advertisements of Moulin Rouge... so I collage a few of the girls from some... I used a piece of card stock that I had creased every 1/2 inch... and then ran Distress Inks over to create this warm colored back ground... a very simple tag to say the least...
Thanks for stopping by ... see you tomorrow???

LOVE
| LOVE |
So I started out with a manilla tag... and embossed it and then used some Distress Ink pads to color around the edges... and then used a distress stain on the center of the tag...
I had stamped a piece of card stock with Tim's new Valentine stamp... and had been cutting words out when I wanted to use them... these two were a little too soft.. so I used the Victorian Velvet Distress Stickles over the letters... Sweet Valentine... I used the Silver tape to create the stacked LOVE... (refer to January 23 post...) and then used a stamp from ages ago for the cupid vintage clip art to sit upon... a simple and easy tag... of course I used my seam binding tape and some ink that matched the tag...
What do you think... sweet enough...????
Thanks for stopping by... leave a message if you can... and let me know what you think... do you like this series of tags...????
have a fun day... I am going to be sewing today a little... as I am creating a quilt making my own fabrics... dying, and playing... will start to show you some of the squares soon...

Be mine as I adore thee
Another really detailed background for me... and I love doing these too... what a shame... huh???
Okay... I started off with a couple of colors and a fine mist of water on my worksheet... and then a few stamps... using different archival inks... a little clip art... and a little rosette... and I have really into the throws of it all...
When I found an old dictionary I refused to tear the pages out to use... so I copied them... and will always have the pages and book!!!
I used a lot of distress stickles on the words and the rosette...
Thanks for stopping by and for all the comments and e-mails ya'll send me... Love them all...
Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie
