It's been a long time since I've posted an update, but i have been stitching. Here's my progress on Sandra Kuck's Xmas:

Calming the tempest

Here's my progress for march on Calming the Tempest. I've started the tips of the wings, finally!

I have been stitching on Thursdays, even though i haven't managed to post updates. I've been working on Calming the Tempest- the border is taking a lot longer than I had anticipated- progress is very slow!




I've also been working on Kuck's Xmas- here's my Jan progress (and despite the confetti, it feels like i'm making more progress on this one:

Two weeks worth of updates

I have been stitching the last 2 weeks- just haven't managed to post updates.
Last Thursday, I spent a some time working on QS Hickory Dickory Dock (Faulkner).





I also had a new start, Misty Benson's Precious Pink:




This past Thursday, I worked on Calming the Tempest (Sessler):

Iris Keeoer SK

Last week, I worked on Wall's Iris Keeper SK:

QS Daydreaming finished

I'm so behind- I realized I never posted my QS finish from October. QS Daydreaming, by Zindy Nielson. This is one of the charts from the HAED bulletin board year-long SAL.





And a set of framed Tiny Treasures I stitched for a friend's new baby (and my dad did the frames)- Bo Peep, Humpty Dumpty, PatACake, and Cow over the moon, all by Nancy Faulkner.

QS Leo finish

It's been awhile since i've posted, but i've still been stitching! I finished up QS Leo, by Sarah Butcher in Sept.





She's stitched 1x1 on 32 count, and was a challenge for me- loads of detail stitching in her hair & face- but i think she was worth it!

TT Pat A Cake (Faulkner)

I've been stitching, but haven't kept up with posting this month,

I finished another of the Tiny treasures- pat a cake.




this week I'll be picking up QS Leo (butcher) for the SAL. here's where she is now:

TT Cow over the Moon (Faulkner) finished aug 4, 2009

Stitched 1x1 on 28 count antique white evenweave. This is the third of Faulkner's tiny treasures i've stitched. I'll start the 4th, Pat A Cake, for the SAL tomorrow. They're a gift for a close friend who's having a baby in october (so I'm hoping to finish pat a cake before then).

Thanks, everyone for their lovely comments on my Storykeeper finish! I still have enough HAED WIPs to choose from, so new starts just yet.

This is a gift for a close friend who's expecting her first baby. I've already finished TT Humpty Dumpty and Bo Peep for her. Am hoping to get this one and Pat A Cake done before the end of october.

Here she is:




Stitched 1x1 on 25 count antique white evenweave. Kreinik #4 braid used for the sparkles in the background, substituted Vicky Clayton's HDF white for her skin.
Started Feb 17, 2006, finished July 28, 2009.

Storykeeper (Fench) update

This past Thursday, I worked on Storykeeper again. Here's the week's progress:




2 pages to go, but they're both partial pages- just over 8,000 stitches. I should be able to finish her sometime in August!

I now have only 2 1/2 pages to go, so am hoping to maybe finish her by the end of the summer.

It's been a couple of weeks since i've posted my progress- i have been joining in every thursday, though. Here she is so far, with nearly 16 pages finished, and just some of her dress and then background to stitch.

Here's an update of Storykeeper from last week's SAL (since I'll be stitching on her again tomorrow). I stitched on her through most of the weekend as well.
