The Final Few

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are having a great week of stitching. I stitch and stitch and don't seem to make much progress. But that is the nature of this beast that we call counted cross stitch. My little panda is coming along pretty good, I am anxious to share her with you. O.K. I know that I am sexist because I call the little one she.

Hope everyone has a great week of stitching, stitching, stitching.

The Final Few

My world is enlarging a little more every day, and pretty soon he will have the whole world in his hands.
The weeks are flying by. Can it really be almost the end of July? I don't know what happened to June or July. Time flies when you are having fun.
I enjoy seeing the WIP here on the blog and am inspired everytime I do.
Have a great week stitching.

The Final Few

Hi Everyone,
Here is my progess. It has been a couple of weeks because we have been having computer problems and I didn't want to add to them. My picture is getting into more and more colors so it makes the stitching a little more fun and faster. I really admire those of you who can keep two of the HAED going at one time. I would lose whatever mind I have left.
Have a great week stitching.

The Final Few

Hi Everyone,
Here is my progress for this week. The world is starting to look like it is supposed to. All week I have been singing He's Got the Whole World in His Hands.
I am so inspired by all of you that I just keep working harder and harder to get more done.
Happy stitching,
Anne

The Final Few

Hi Everyone,
Here is my picture after 7 months of stitching, 76,000 stitches out of 278,800 completed, 8 inches completed out of 27 7/8 inches. Now I have only 202,800 stitches to complete and I will be finished.
Isn't it fun? Also I have completed 13 pages of patterns.
Hope everyone is well and enjoying their project as much as I am enjoying mine.
Have a great week stitching and see you next week.

The Final Few

Hey Everyone,

This week has been pretty productive. I have been able to sit and stitch alot. All of you understand why it doesn't look like I have done too much. It is so fun to watch your progress on your pieces. I love reading the blog and seeing what everyone else is doing.
Have a great week stitching,
Anne

The Final Few

Hi Everyone,
Progress is made in small pieces. Today is a wonderful day we are getting a very nice rain. A good soaking rain that we don't get too often, because Tucson is in the desert. My dogs have complained about not going for their walk and they have to swim across the patio to get out to the backyard but they will manage.

I'm hoping everyone has a great week of stitching.

The Final Few

The Final Few

Here is my big panda picture. The sky seems to be getting larger and larger, but I know it isn't. This has been a good week for stitching because in five out of the last six days the temperature has been over 100 and that's just too warm to work outside, so I sit inside with the air conditioner running and stitch. (That is my excuse anyway.)

Have a great week stitching.

The Final Few

Hi Everyone,

Here is the pictureof my piece. And the sky goes on. It is coming along and is compelling. If I don't get to put some stitches on it everyday, I feel that I have really missed something.
Have a great week stitching, Anne

The Final Few

Hi everyone,
This is the front and the back of my stitching. My husband insisted I send in a picture of the back after he read last weeks blogs. This has been a very busy week. I have stitched along as usual, but sometimes other things were calling me. In addition to this H&E design I am making a hardanger jacket for my mother and myself. After all the blue on this picture, guess the color of my jacket material--yep it is blue and I am going to do the hardanger in darker blue. Hopefully it will come out all right.
Thanks for reading, have a great week stitching.

The Final Few

Hi everyone,
I am new to blogging, but have cross stitched for years and years. More than I like to count. I am working on the HAED The Final Few. I saw it in the Nordic Needle catalog and fell in love as did my mother, who is 92, and I am stitching this for her. I do hope and pray that she is with us for a long long time. I started this on November 7, 2008 and this is the extent of my progress. It has been un though, even if sometimes the stitching gets a little tedious.
I am a retired school teacher. I taught for 32 years in the small town of Douglas, Arizona right on the Mexican border. Our house was 15 blocks from the border. We loved Douglas and raised our two children there. When we retired me moved to Tucson, Arizona where we live now. There is more to do here and with all the violence along the border we are glad to be a little bit away from it.
I have done Cross stitch, Needlepoint, Hardanger, Blackwork and Crewel. I enjoy them all but the Cross stitch and Hardanger are my true favorites.
In case you haven't guessed, this is my first time writing to a blog. If I make any gross errors, please let me know.
