Wow I haven't been on here for a while...a lot of personal stuff has been going on and so stitching and the computer were way down my list of priorities! I'm glad to say I'm back now though and with my latest update of Steve Roberts - Dragon Riders.
This is pages 11 and 12...

I'm stitching out of sequence so here is a pic of the whole thing so you can see it properly :) I've already made a start on what is actually page 9 and will be back with another update ASAP :)

Such fabulous work for me to catch up with ladies...there's a wide range of charts being stitched which is brilliant as we get to see so many of these wonderful designs coming to life but it also means there is more to add to my wishlist lol. Dragon Riders

WOW I can't believe I won Jan's Giveaway, thank you so much Marie :) I have asked for Train Of Dreams. I don't know when I'll get around to starting it, probably sooner rather than later lol.
Here is my progress on DR.....this is my before pic...


After pic...the flash caused whiteout again but the pic's without were blurry!

Maxine's Dragon Rider's

Well I hate to say it but this month I haven't done a great deal of HAED stitching! I have tried but the course of antibiotics I had before Christmas have messed with my stomach so I have been back and forth to the doctor's and am now almost finished my third course of antibiotics!
I am finally starting to feel better so here is the start of page 8.....
It looks a bit washed out and with loads of white showing through but that's just because of the flash it really doesn't look that bad.

I have to also show you my DD Jennifer's new start her third HAED!!!! This one is Sarah Butcher's ACEO Leo ...Jennifer's stitching it for her sister's birthday in August and has already put quite a lot of work in.

You can just see across the top of this next pic she has stitched all what was missing on the

pic above and has started working on the hair and face now.

I hope to get a lot more HAED stitching in next month and have another page finished (we can dream can't we lol). I have to say looking at all the wonderful work on this blog really does make you want to sit and stitch doesn't it? Great work ladies as always :)

Dragon Riders Puppy Love Fae

My DD Jennifer has another HAED finish.....Nadia Tate's QS Puppy Love Fae :)

She took about 8 months to finish it bit some months she hardly stitched at all. I've took the photo's for her so she's all ready to sort out the HAED Reward scheme and has her next one chosen :)
Here's another finish but on a smaller scale lol.....I finally finished the last two pages across the top of Dragon Riders :)

I'm putting it away just until the holidays are finished because I'm working on an older non HAED WIP (see my blog for pic's of this) Then I'll sort out a rotation to include Dragon Riders and any new starts I may have in the New Year.

Hello everyone long time no see :) I finally got back to some HAED stitching after a stressful few weeks. Out came Dragon Riders, here's my before pic just to remind you all where I had got to....
Here's where it as of lunch time today...this pic is more true to the colours than the one above.

I am staying with this for a couple more days at least so hopefully more progress to show next week...was going to say this page may get finished but then I always jinx myself lol.

Here's DD Jennifer's HAED Puppy Love Fae....

She has got all the way across the top and is now coming down the right hand side. When she has finished this page I'll take a full pic so you can see it in all it's glory :)

I haven't been posting a great deal I have been so tired and apart from my HAED I haven't done any other stitching. I have read quite a few books though :)

I did join in with the SAL two weeks ago but I didn't get around to posting it so this first pic is of it after that SALAnd this pic is how it looks now after last weeks SAL I need to just work down the legs to have this page finished

Maxine's Darkling Update

Sorry for the late post, we had a very busy weekend visiting my mam and dad (it was my mam's birthday) and my eldest DD Leanne her partner Barry and my DS Gary. This is the first opportunity to get on the computer since...I brought out Selena Fenech's Darkling....

I seem to have lost my HAED mojo although I am enjoying stitching on all my other WIP's....fingers crossed it returns for this weeks SAL. You can see on the above pic all the blue highlighted on the chart is what I got done Thursday night.
Here is my DD Jennifer's progress you can see she has made a start on the top of the next page now :)

Well technically my DD Jennifer's progress as I didn't stitch on my HAED's!

I can't remember what her last wip pic was but after stitching on her last Thursday and Friday this is where she's up to now :)

Maxine's Bubbles Update

Hi everyone :) I'm finally here with my SAL update...I got Bubbles out for a change

I managed to get done all the blue you can see highlighted on the chart...it wasn't too bad to stitch because it's background there isn't much confetti. I don't know what I'll be stitching on for the rest of the week or which HAED I'll be stitching on for this weeks SAL so we'll have to wait and see what takes my fancy lol

I can't possibly comment on every post so I want to take this opportunity to tell you all how fabulous you are and thank you for inspiring me to keep going when it sometimes gets difficult (((hugs)))

Maxine's Darkling Update

Hi Everyone, I stitched on Darkling and made fairly good progress :) On Saturday I switched over to HAED's Puggles and did a little bit on that...I haven't touched him for a good few weeks!!

I did all the yellow :)

My DD Jennifer's had smoking needles and has finished the first page of her newest HAED.

I've decided to swap over my HAED's and so this week I'm concentrating on Bubbles for a change!

I'll be in for tonight's SAL and so will my DD Jennifer...here's where she's upto on QS Puppy Love FaeI just can't believe how she's flying through this one!

Well I made a start on my new HAED chart Selena Fenech's Darkling....there is quite a bit of confetti on the first page which is where I've started from and so I haven't got a half page done yet, hopefully I won't take too much longer :) Here's the pic of what Darkling looks like for those that haven't seen it
