Here's an update of MOTD,I can't seem to find my Faery Tales or Sunny scans. I'll try to dig thru my computers later today.
I had my gall bladder taken out in an emergency surgery 2 weeks ago and I've spent a good deal of time dopey but I did manage to get a bit done on Faery Tales. I'm trying to work on Sunny this week but it's been a long week already and I find myself being so tired:( I haven't taken any pain medication in days yet still so tired:(

New Start and some progress pics

After some gentle "coaxing" from some other fine HAED stitchers I started Faery Tales by James Christensen(?).I'm stitching it on 28 ct. pale blue 1x1 and I've gotten in about 500-700 stitches-I did put it down for this week to work on QS Dragon Soul for the Fairy Day SAL on the BB. I got a bit done on it-I think I now agree with others that don't like the #4 braid on the face.I'm only using 1 strand of it too and learned from the first side that I do all the stitches around the shiny spots and then go back and fill it in. I found if I did it along the way I would lose a hole here and there because of the thickness of the #4.I also worked on SK MOTD for the final SK SAL,didn't get it finished but got alot done. Valorie(she's 4,my GD)picked Sunny for me to do on the next SK SAL,we're getting excited about that one.Love all the colors in her!
I just got my computer fixed and we lost all of our other stuff,I don't feel like linking to photobucket atm so just these recent updates is what I have.I'm finishing up some on QS Dragon Soul as I'm itching to get back to Faery Tales....But I really need to work on a better rotation-I stll need to finish QS Citrine and SK Rose on Fire....

These were all scanned on 6/19/10,I'll scan QS Dragon Soul a little later today and stick it in here too.

I had a great time going thru the posts and seeing all the great progress being made,there sure are some lovely charts being stitched out there:)   Everybody have a great day!

So here's my progress on SK Mermaid of the Deep....been so busy unpacking-and losing stuff-lost my gran daughters Birth Certificate somewhere and I've kept it handy for 3 yrs. Found my kids but not hers hmmm?I've gone back to sticking one of my regular HAED charts in too soo I'm working on this and QS Dragon Soul.I'll post progress pics on it after I re-scan it

Still Here

Gee I love checking out everyones progress. We've been very busy,bought a house. We're all moved in and just trying to get things done. I keep hoping the rain will go away and I'll remember to take a picture of it. In the meantime I've been able to get some stitching done . I thought I'd post some pics. I hadn't realized that I didn't post anything on SK Rose on Fire. But here are my most recent HAED updates minus In To The Light I have a good deal of rows done-from the bottom corner all 939 in row 50 I get to throw some black in but I haven't scanned it so here is SK Rose on Fire(I have restarted this 3-4 times)(sorry it's blurry) and SK Mermaid of the Deep I can't remember if I've posted QS Citrine here or not but got some more done on it too

Fresh update: worked on this weekend...

So sorry I've been gone too long. I have a few new HAED starts.
I have Wizard by Carlson, Citrine by Anderson,In To The Light by Rosario. I have scanned my progress on Citrine and can post it. I haven't scanned the other 2. I scanned Wizard but I'm on my laptop and even tho the 2 are networked together I can't remember what file I put Wizard into.
I'm still working onQS Citrine, the butterfly is kicking my butt-I worked on it alone one whole weekend and it's still not done.

Update on Dragon Soul QS

I updated Dragon Soul QS. I've been trying to get things together to actively take part in some of the weekly SAL's. Will try to post update on Citrine tomorrow or Tuesday.

QS Dragon Soul-New Start

I purchased Dragon Soul QS and Butterfly Keeper QS. I had most all of the floss for the Dragon QS so I have started it first. This is my fourth start on this. I'm doing it on 28ct. which is new to me (I'm also working on a small that will be my first with 28). I finally found if I do 1x1 full cross(with a pair of readers) it works out good. I just got a new lapstand to try. I found a Morgan Lap Stand at Hobby Lobby,they are also non-slip. And I have found they work really well. I can now stitch 2-handed and I'm moving right along-can't wait to get this in it. Guess I could work on it tomorrow and work on Citrine on the weekend.
I love checking out everyones progress on their projects. I don't always have time to post comments. Three year olds are so much fun. I can get about 3 e-mails checked before she wants to do something with me-no matter how I try to distarct her with something else. But if we're sitting there watching Clifford or Super Why she'll let me stitch sometimes I get a good hundred stitches in.

I've been trying to post the progress pic but it keeps putting it above this one. But if you look real close you can see the difference. I think my next HAED I'm just using regular blending filament I don't like the braid it's a little thick.

I figured it out woo-hoo for me. Now I'm working on the Citrine for the themed SAL weekend at HAED,plus I worked on this some on Friday so I can count them both in that one. Thanks for looking.

Got the purple all filled in-almost used the whole skein. I'm going to try to get some things scanned here in a little while-will post a progress pic then.

Got even more done after this, but I haven't re-scanned it. I will try to in a few days. I'm working hard on my Mystic Stitch right now-but it's Thursday now hmmmmm......

• Here is a progress pic on the Citrine. Going to work on it some this weekend.Joining it I got Dragon Soul QS.

I've almost got half of page one done. There is a little more done on it just haven't had time to do any scanning. This is Citrine QS and I'm doing it as part of HAED's SAL challenge. I'm very new to HAED and I hadn't realized the difference between QS and a whole chart so I'm hoping to get the full Citrine soon. My grandaughter loves butterflies so I have a few picked out for purchasing....as soon as my husband changes companies.
Everyone has such beautiful work done on theirs. I could probably spend all our money on these designs.
