Hi all here is quick update on "Pearl" I think she is starting to take shape and looking good.

She is Stitched on 18cnt Adia 2 over 1 with DMC Threads!

Are there any Stitchers out there that regulary stitch in 22ct I would love your Opinions. I have brought some and thinking about a re-start on my "Sin" Charts!

So Its Been Awhile!

Hi Everyone!

Sorry its been so long since my last post!

But Since then I have 2 HAED Finishes!

QS"Spring Explosion Mermaid"

I gave this to a friend for their birthday in December! It took nearly 10 months, and that was stop start stitching as well!

My next Finish is -

QS"Sweet Selina"

This took nearly a year to complete! Both were stitched on 18cnt Aida using  2 Strands!

I also have brought a heap of new charts! Damn those sales! Not that I mind!

On Friday I did put some stitches into "Envy" Although I'm not moved to stitch her ATM.

I have started a new piece as well -

QS "Spring Explosion Mermaid"

Its been ages since I have worked on any of my HAED's, So I thought it was high time I did, Also I have to have it finished by Early December.

So this last week I have been working on my mermaid................for some reason I also picked the page that's confetti heavy, but that's OK, a big breath later and I dived on in............

So this is where she was when I left off..........

So not to bad for nearly a weeks work, I'm thinking I should have her done in about 4 weeks or so...........but no promises!

Coluring In! A page Finish!

I have been of on Holiday for the last week! The weather has not been nice so I have been Coluring in!

Although I did have to rip out about 600 stitches at the beginning, she was going to be lopsided if I didnt!

Both are Stitched on 18 cnt 2 over 1 with DMC!

I havnt updated in awhile So Large Post ahead!

So I have been working on several charts since my last post, A QS and a FOF and a "Sin"

This is for a Gift in December, Still have a few months to go, I'm sure I will make it!

She is Stitched 2 over 1 on 18cnt with DMC.

Second is My FOF 88 I brought this to get over my fear of Stitching Skin! I'm always paranoid that it wont look even!

Its not looking to bad the Eye is amazing! Here is what the finished piece will look like! She is also stitched 2 over 1 with DMC on 18cnt

Lastly I have been Working on "Lust" I have Just finished page 8, I really liked this page, Although I was concerned that her arm was going to look odd, but no, I was wrong, her armed looked perfect!

"Envy" Pgs 14,15 and "Lust"

Hi everyone,

Wow there are some fantastic work out there! Everyones pieces are looking great!

Here is a update on "Envy" and "Lust" I've been off on Holiday this week, and the weather has been bad......So I have had lots of time for stitching.......First I wanted to get Pgs 14 and 15 finished on "Envy"

I moved over to the other side so I could do some Dress and Background! The 3 pages in the Middle are just dress so I wanted a break from that.

Here is how she is looking overall......

I also gave her a quick steam with the Iron, Just to freshened it up and to take out the hoop marks! The ruffle at the bottom is done and looks great IMHO!

When I last worked on "Lust" I stopped midpage.......So I wanted to get that done as well......

I'm excited about the next page as It has Some Arm. Overall I'm happy with how they are both going.

Pg 13 "Envy" Update

Well Page 13 is Finished now. Enjoying this Project more and More. I have also started to get ready to buy threads for "Vanity" I have all the threads for "Sloth" as well, I just need to wind them to go in the box.

I enjoyed this page more, because there was a little bit of dress and Background together. Its around 56,000 Stitches. I have Moved over to the other side now and have started Pg 14, and 15, Since 15 is only 12 Stitches across!

QS "Sweet Selena"

Hi Everyone,

Well I have spent all week on "Selena" and The black is all done, I have also moved onto some colour, I started with the Eyes which I wasn't intending to do.......But I think they look amazing, and cant wait to add more to it............

Excuse the Hoop marks! My flatmate said to me that the black by itself looks really good, and almost could be left like that............but now that there is some colour I want to see it finished..........

The Eyes Have It!

Well Im now in full Holiday Mode! And have been happily stitching away on "Sweet Selina"

Im Loving the way this is turning out. Im now on my 3rd skein of 310 and think I will use another 2 or 3 to finish all the black. I really want to stitch the Eyes with all the colour just to add some, but am happy to wait.

QS "Spring Explosion Mermaid"

Hi Everyone,

Well I have made my first new start for 2011, I also think I may have a new Love, In the form of Hannah Disney's Artwork! WOW!

So this is a gift for a 40th later on in the year.

I have made a decent start over the weekend, and will be picking up "Envy" tomorrow.

Here is the progress -

This is what it should look like when done. I'm amazed at how quickly it is coming along. The colours are fantastic, nice and bright, also a change from green. I'm also going to leave all the 819 till the end as I really don't want it to get dirty.

Well after a bit of a break finishing off all my UFO's. I am finally back working on just 2 projects and they are both "Sins" which I'm very excited about.

When I stopped working on them I had done part pages on both. So I picked up "Envy" to finish the bottom row.

Lust Update!

Hi Everyone,


I have picked up Lust again after stopping mid page, I finished that page and another, page 4 took 10 days which I'm pretty happy with.

I think the pictures don't do it justice. Lust looks much better from a distance.
