  It has been awhile!  I had a few stitchy projects that had to be finished.  I have stitched on Lavender Moon but forgot to update it here.  Here is my last update

Lavender Moon Update

Hi everyone!
   Sorry I haven't been here in awhile but just started back on Lavender Moon.  I am seeing some beautiful stitching updates here.  I have made a little more stitching done on this HAED and managed a total of 529 stitches.  It is slow going but just trying to get used to stitching my first HAED on linen.  Will try to stitch more during the week.

Lavender Moon Update

I do have an update to Lavender Moon, stitched now 287 stitches over double from my first progress.  Still not much to see but in time that will change. 

My Progress On Lavender Moon!

I have stitched 108 stitches today on Lavender Moon!  Since this is my first HAED it looks like nothing!  I am stitching on 25 ct Lavender Bliss 1 over 1 so I guess that accounts for this small blob.  I started in the upper left corner which I never did before either.  I have always started in the middle.  Well, here is a pic of the pattern followed by my start.

I know it has been a while since I posted but I have started my HAED!!!  Please bear with me since this is my first one ; )  I am using 25 ct Lavender Bliss for this one.  Will have an update by the end of the week.  Lovely stitching everyone : )

Just Wanted To Pop In And Say!

I have started Lavender Moon by Michele Sayetta but not enough to show!  I should have a photo up this week.  Just want you to know I am stitching!  I must say I see awesome progress on the SALs this past two weeks.  Happy Stitching everyone ; )

Thanks so much Joke for excepting me as your buddy! Louanne thanks for excepting me : ) I have a lot of Haed patterns and I am going to start with Lavender Moon chart HAEJG 245. I have attached a picture of it so you can see what it looks like.

I finished the first page to Lavender Moon! You can see even see a little of the moon.


I am going to be starting my first TT tonight. I want to rotate this and LM each month. The 'I' is going to be for my son. I also have 'E' for my DD. I am hoping to have them both done by Christmas.

I had been hoping to get page one done this week. But I still feel like I've made some really good progress.

Lavender Moon

Well, here is my progress as of last night. I managed to put in about 350 stitches last night and a total of 800 stitches since Sunday night. I love working on this piece and I just don't want to put it down! LOL Thanks for looking!

Jess's Lavender Moon

My name is Jessica. I am a stay at home mom and this is my first post in this blog. I am working on Lavender Moon by Jessica Galbraith. It's my first HAED project and I have learned so much since I had first started. I have learned that parking or carrying threads is much faster than one thread at a time. I don't know why, but I had such a hard time wrapping my head around how the technique was suppose to be done. But with the help of some online friends and then the tutorial from this group, I think I have the hang of it now.

The two pictures that I have posted are before and after pics.

The top one was taken a few months ago and the bottom one was taken this morning. I managed to put in about 1250 stitches in the last 5 days. I really like parking threads! LOL
