Portrait of Ophelia JBG - by Jo

Here is my update of Ophelia. She is a bit of a slow wip but I am loving stitching her - I can't wait to get away from the endless black and get to her hair! Stitched one over one, full crosses on 28ct jobelan.

EDIT to add: I've just noticed that this is post number 2000 for the blog! Congratulations everyone on our wonderful blogging :-D

Faces of Faery 150 JBG - stitched by Jo

It's been a while since I posted any wips so, although I haven't quite finished a page, I thought I would show you my new start. It's the gorgeous JBG released for the Japan fundraiser. She is stitching up beautifully and as usual, the eye is amazing!

I am stitching her on my usual 28ct jobelan - this time in bone, 1 over 1 and full crosses. I started her on 26 March and have named her "Usagi" which (if Google is correct!) is Japanese for rabbit.

Since this photo was taken I have finished another column so I hope to have a page finish soon!

Happy stitching everyone :-D

Porthole of Fantasy 1: JBG - stitched by Jo

Here she is! Done!

I started her on 2 December 2010 and finished her on 16 March 2011. She is stitched one over one, whole crosses on 28ct bone jobelan. I love the way she has turned out :-) Thanks to Michele's great charting!

On now to finally being able to join in the 2011 SAL with Curl Up, and to my new start - Early Visit by Tallamy.

Porthole of Fantasy 1: JBG - stitched by Jo

Here is my most recent wip, Porthole of Fantasy 1 by JBG, page one now done. I started her on 2 December after having a disaster with my Faces of Faery 88 which has now been consigned to the bin :-( She is being stitched whole crosses, one over one on 28ct bone jobelan. So far I am loving stitching her - a great mix of confetti and blocks of colour and even some sparklies!

Faces of Faery 88 stitched by Jo

This is the third of my wips, Faces of Faery 88 (FF88) by JBG. I started her on 18 September 2010. She is being stitched on 28ct lilac lugana, one over one and with whole crosses. She is stitching up quite quickly, thanks to the large amount of 945 on her forehead! I started her eye just to give myself a break from the skin tones. The eye really does look much better in real life.

I am now back to stitching Sunny for the SK SAL this week and I think I may rotate back to Vanity afterwards. That is unless my Faery's eye pulls me back!

Thanks for looking and happy stitching!

Another newbie

Hello everyone! I am another newbie :-) Thanks so much to Louanne for me being here - I am very excited to be on the blog! My name is Jo and I live in the UK, near Oxford. I have four HAED wips at the moment - I think I am a bit of a serial starter lol! I am currently working on Vanity, Aurora's Garden, the Sunny SK SAL and also my newest start is Faces of Faery 88 (FF88). I have posted here the up to date photos of Vanity and Aurora. I am working on FF88 until the SK SAL starts again so I will post an update of that when I change over. I'll post a picture of Sunny once the SAL has finished :-)

Thanks for looking and happy stitching everyone!
