HAED's QS Waiting as of 24th November 2011 (Page 5 Done) by Gizzimomo

Hi guys

Finally here's the update on QS Waiting now Page 5 is done!

Page 5 Done

Progress So Far
The pink still looks a bit off but it looks much better with more of the detail in. I went as far as to check the colour on my DMC Colour Card to make sure it was definitely the right colour as I was that worried about it but it definitely is correct so I have to be rave and trust the chart.... gonna be hard though!

QS White Rose Fae finished :)

I have been a bit slow on stitching my HAEDs but now I finally finished my first one! :) On 30th of December 2009 I put the last stitches on my QS White Rose Fae. I stitched her on 25ct Lugana, colour Blush, one over one. If not counting the times I didn't stitch her (I lost my mojo in one point) it took about 5 months. I didn't stitch the backround since I think the light pink fabric looks great as a backround.
She will be a present for my Godmother so I'll try to frame her soon. I already have the frame and the mat waiting.

Happy New Year to everyone! :)

QS Leo finish

It's been awhile since i've posted, but i've still been stitching! I finished up QS Leo, by Sarah Butcher in Sept.

She's stitched 1x1 on 32 count, and was a challenge for me- loads of detail stitching in her hair & face- but i think she was worth it!

Koukiotis Sleeping Beauty Completed!

Hi everyone! My very first HAED finish. I started on her on the 18 Dec 08 and completed her today, 06 Jul 09. Tent-stitched on 28ct Wichelt Jobelan Lavender Sunset, using HDF silk. This blog is one of the many people whom I want to say thank you to. Without the encouragements and lovely comments from the stitchers here, I wouldn't had the motivation at all. Thank you so much!

What will my next HAED project be? I have no idea. I really hope Mermaid's Touch from the same artist (Koukiotis) will be charted very soon as that one grips me as much as Sleeping Beauty when I first saw it. I guess in the meantime while hoping for it to be charted, I will continue with my Angel of Spring.

Leap froggie finished!

I finished Leap froggie! Last weeks I was still working on her, for a project that is so close to a finish is really nice to work on! Yesterday I did the last stitches and today I ironed it for the photo.
I finished my first HAED. I'm really proud!

Does somebody have the email address of Bob and Michelle? I really like to send my photo for the reward program (of course) but in the contact form that's on the site there's no room for an attachment. You may e-mail their address to mine: sjoukjedijkman@gmail.com Thanks!
