Bunny Burn-out

Then
Now

This is "Bunny on Path" Freebie. I worked on the basket and background a bit. The basket contains many colored eggs, so it's going to be slow going from now on. This is where gridding would have come in handy!

I'm just burned out in general right now with all of my stitching projects. I pushed to get one project done, and I still have another looming over my head. It's not supposed to feel like this, I know. I also know it will pass. What I'd really like to do is start my new HAED . . . tee hee . . . good thing I don't have the fabric - YET!

There have been many beautiful finishes this month. Congrats to you all!
I'll just keep hopping along!

Kim FL - Gaining Ground

Last Week

This Week

"Bunny on Path" Freebie. I think my progress will be much slower from now on with confetti stitching and I'm still working on frogging his ears. I did accomplish adding everyone's blog to my bloglist. If you don't see your blog please let me know!

Kim FL- Hopping Along

Last Week

This Week

"Bunny on Path" Freebie. I went from blues to purples to greenie/browns. You can sort of see the outline for his basket on the left. I may save that for last because of all the color changes (love all the color, but it slows my progress)!

I hope everyone was able to take advantage of the HAED sale! I may get the fabric and start one of the patterns I purchased - eek! I see some of you have more than one HAED going, so I'll probably be a part of that soon . . . oh my . . .

Kim FL - Bunny Backside

Last Week

This Week

Front and back of "Bunny On Path" freebie. I was able to work on his coat over the weekend and stitched that entire left row to the bottom on Thursday. My hair on the back side is for luck (!?! Oops!). ;)

Kim FL - More Bunny

This is Thursday's progress for "Bunny on Path" freebie. As you can see by my fabulous photo skills -NOT! (lol) there are now 4 shades of purple in his coat. I also got a little bit more of birdie stitched. I may even get ambitious this weekend and try to get some basket and eggs stitched so I have some true progress for Easter! I can't wait to see what everyone has done this week :).

Kim FL - Bunny Progress - Purple Haze

Last Week

This is the progress I made this week for "Bunny On Path" Freebie. I began stitching his beautiful purple coat - there are two shades in there so far . . .

I also did a few stitches of the little red and brown birdie that sits on his basket (left). Bun-bun's ears still need to be frogged out - I only got so far on that.

Don't you find that every week your project gets more 'egg'-citing (excuse the pun) the further you get? I know I'm going to go totally mental doing his egg basket with all the color changes, but I can't wait to see it come to life!

Until next week,
Kim

Kim - Mr. Blue Sky

Last Week

This is my weekly progress on "Bunny On Path". I'm not getting very far with the confetti stitching on the leaves (upper right) but most of the beautiful blue sky is finished!

Unfortunately, I think I misread one of my symbols and may have to frog poor bunny's ears! Boo-hoo! Oh well, I guess his purple jacket will have to wait another week.

This is my week for froggies. Monday I had to frog Sunday's stitching on another project I'm working on. Must be all the rain we've been getting here in South Florida! On the bright side, I have my own digital camera now (pink!) so I won't have to borrow my Mom's anymore.

And please feel free to enter the contest on my blog. It ends the last day of March.
Thanks! Kim ;)

More "Bunny on Path"

Hi Everyone!
Kim from Florida here. I made much more progress this week, especially since I didn't have to deal with any little froggies this time!
Also, I stitched on Wednesday, Thursday, and a bit on Friday. Now I can see what the entire width of the project is. I'm so excited because soon I'm going to be stitching the beautiful purple shades of his coat!
I really need to pick up a few DMC colors - but I'm afraid to go to the craft store. I must be strong and put my blinders on and focus only on FLOSS! Wish me luck!
I'm loving this blog - what an inspiration! It's so much fun to encourage each other, I feel I'm a part of every project. I look forward to all the new postings!

Kim - Bunny On Path

This was supposed to be week 2 of the Thursday HAED SAL. For me it was more like week 1! I started on the blue sky, and in the process had to frog all of week 1's work! Miscount! So now it is more like I started from the top RIGHT instead of left. Oops!
As you can see, the bunny ears are emerging. There are actually 2 shades of blue and 3 shades of gray in there.

I included a pic of how I work - except for the Gazelle floor stand I use. I use Q-snaps (backwards) but just top & bottom since the fabric is so small. See my cute little needle holder magnet? I bought it many years ago at a little stitch shop I used to frequent. A local lady hand painted it. It is a woman stitching in the middle of projects scattered all around. The words read "this one I'm going to finish". I have NO idea how she could paint so small - especially the words! I just love it because that is my ultimate goal (of course!) with every project I start. My mantra.
I hope everyone was able to stitch this week and got much further than I did!

Kim's Small Start

Hi Everyone! I'm Kim and I found out about HAED through Wendy's and Cindy's blogs! I went to the HAED site . . . and WOW! Such beauty! Since this group was starting I decided to quickly get my feet wet and downloaded from their site the freebie pattern "Bunny on Path".

I didn't get a chance to really organize my threads yet, so I didn't get very far in my stitching. I attempted to do 3 squares, but this was as far as I got. I'm working on white evenweave, and I started stitching the top left corner of the design.

My next quandary is which of the complete HAED patterns to purchase! My head is spinning! I can't wait to see every one's progress.
