Harvest this pattern with me in the comfort of your four walls. Blue pears, pink apples - whatever your heart desires... Put them in your minds apron. Maybe you'll make an inspiration jam out of them... to spread later on... when winter would make all things colorless and cold. Store some fun in your head pantries:)

I'm at it again... watercoloring. It really relaxes the mind and makes procrastination - productive:) 

I've had a wonderful workless weekend. I got to squeeze more of these into my life.

I love designing characters. Building little stories behind them (between us friends) and giving them hats to wear. My kind of fun:) Well... and sometimes, they all end up in a pattern. They like it here - in this pattern. It's not windy, and so, the hats stay on. Plus, occasionally, a number or a shape floats on by and makes life a little more interesting.

To say that I've been busy would be an understatement. I'm buzzing around and finishing things up... and hoping for a peaceful weekend.

I'd like you to meet my new friend and a wonderful addition to my Italian pottery (from the 50s & 60s) collection - Mr. Horse.

His equine forms and beautifully textured glazes just make me happy every time I glance.

The 'art' photography is due to the fact that it is incredibly dark in my house even at the high noon.

Took the pigeon out of urban setting. Pigeons need folklore too:) I'm an urban bird myself... but once in a while I want to see the country side.

Unicorns... well, I've never been a fan... until I realized they don't have to be pink, rainbow glam with sparkles on top. So - here's is to the power of the magic of your imagination! My unicorns are brown and apple patterned. What kind are inside your head?:)

Experimenting with watercolors again. Put all that toomuchery that goes on in my head right onto paper.

I've been trying to teach Lola how to knit a little while ago... but, looks like teaching is not my bag... or maybe she's too young. In any case, the imagery of yarn has been floating in my head and has finally materialized into a pattern:)

I'm under the weather. The official sign that the school has started and the viruses are rejoicing:) Well... what can I do... 

I have medicine and a large selection of movies I can watch over and over again. So... I work a little... and than I go downstairs and hug it out with my couch while watching some of my favorites. Yesterday... watched 'Run LOLA, Run'. Still love it as much as I did 10 years ago. My Lola got her name from that movie... that's how much I love it.

Well... I better run and do some real work... before DayQuil stops it's magic and this computer turns into a pumpkin...

These little posters were made for the American Girl magazine. It's a halloween issue that's on stands now. Loved making these characters...

p.s.: just doesn't seem real that Halloween is around the corner. I'm holding on to the straws of summer... refusing to believe that fall is at the gate.

First day of school:

Wake up way too early. Wash, brush, dress, feed, make hair and pack... with a side order of running around like a headless chicken. Sounds like fun... doesn't it...

Well... when it's all over, and a little yellow bus is a tiny dot on a horizon... it's time for coffee... time for blogging and... eventually - time for work. But first - COFFEE.
