Mortified

Olin viime viikolla Apollo-teatterissa kuuntelemassa Mortified esitystä. Siinä entiset teinit lukevat vanhoja päiväkirjamerkintöjään teinivuosilta. Oli pieni epäilys illasta, mutta se kaksituntinen hurahtikin nopeasti mielenkiintoista esitystä seuratessa. Varsinkin kun esiintyjät lukivat sujuvasti omia tekstejään. Vaikka minun teini-ikä on kaukana lukijoiden (jotka olivat 25-40 -vuotiaita) teini-iästä, niin ei ne asiat muutu vuosikymmenien aikana.
Teatteri oli hieno. Sehän on entinen Capitol elokuvateatteri Mannerheimintiellä, jossa aikanaan tuli katsottua muutama elokuva, siis vuosikymmenet sitten.

Last week I was in the Apollo Theatre to listen Mortified presentation. There the former teens was reading their old diary entries of their teenage years. It was interesting evening especially when the performers read fluently their own texts. Although my teen-age is far from the readers own (who were 25-40 years old), so those things doesn't change over the decades.
The Apollo-theatre looked great, there has been a long time ago a cinema Capitol.
