Create a Fierce Stamped Steampunk Dragon with Blank Page Muse Stamps

We recently lost my grandma and I had the pleasure of being be her side during alot of her end journey.  Towards the end, she was becoming afraid to be alone, mostly that no one would come when she called.  As I was talking to her, I tole her the be fierce like a lion or dragon. ROAR so that they would hear her.  We even practiced roaring together.  I reminded her it was ok for her to ask the staff for things when she needed them!    She continued her roar until close to the end.  This project was my tribute to her.  Reminding me to fight and speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves!  Blank Page Muse Supplies Magnificent Clockwork Dragon Steampunk Line Art Rubber Stamp designed by Rick St Dennis  Other  Supplies Distress Markers and Water Brush Distress Inks Graphic 45 Botanicabella Papers 5x7 Canvas Decoupage Medium Hop on over to the Blank Page Muse Blog for all the details.

Big Blooms Thinking of You

Today I am sharing this cute card made with the new Big Bloom set from Dare 2B Artzy! To create this card I started by stamping my image with Dare 2B Atrzy's Totally Black Premium Ink and then colored my images with Tim Holtz Distress markers. If you want to recreate these colors I used Wilted Violet, Shaded Lilac, Candied Apple, Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade, Lucky Clover and Pine Needles.  I then fussy cut my blooms and layered them on my card, topping the blooms with a bit of bling!  To create the sentiment I used another Dare 2B Artzy stamp set the Thinking of You Set (12059) stamped with Dare 2B Artzy's Wild Orchid Premium Ink.  I hope you enjoyed this card and are inspired to create!

Dreamy Valentine's Day Card

Today I am sharing this stunning card I created using Dare 2B Arzty Dream Catcher Stamp Set .  I am having so much fun with this set.  For this card I started by cutting my card 8 x 5 1/2 inches.  Instead of folding it i half I scored my card at 2 inches and 6 inches and folded the "flaps" to make make my card front. I then cut my front panels slightly smaller (1 1/2 x 5) and stamped the 2 front panels with the Dream Catcher stamp and my Candied Apple Distress Ink.  I matted the 2 front panels on black card stock and adhered them to my card. I added a chip heart to which I had re-colored with my distress ink and added a small piece of a paper doily. I adhered to the left front of the card allowing a small bit of the heart to over hang the right panel.  I then topped it off with a black ribbon bow. I then set to work on the card inside. You can see here I stamped the Dream Catcher off the bottom right of the card.  I added a few stamps of the D...

A little Zombie Fun

Happy Birthday Card

Today I am sharing a sneak peek of this card I made using the Alice #2 stamps from Sin City Stamps.  Please hop on over to their blog to see the full project.
Today sharing this spring birthday card. For this card I wanted to play around a bit.  I created the background by blending several distress inks over white cardstock.  I then reinked over a Sin City Stamps stencil # 13.  I then traced an oval using Kreaxions oval template.  To create the doily  I cut around the traced template leave about a 1 inch margin.  I marked the punching lines using the B template and used the #304 Kreaxions punch. I then added a glitter line on the tracing line for the oval.  I added a stamped image from Sin City Stamps from the Alice in Wonderland 2 set.  I coloed the image using my Distress Markers and a water pen then hand wrote my sentiment.  Hope you enjoyed this project.
