Hello Friend!

HELLO FRIEND!
Recently Kat Scrappiness  released some fun Rainbow Confetti Paper and it made the cutest background for my card! There are lots of colors in this slimline paper pack for you to choose from and I just love this teal color!

For the main attraction on my card I used one of the adorable Quokkas from the Quokka'n Up Stamp Set
and I cut him out using the Quokka'n Up Coordinating Dies. I just love the adorable polaroid frame this set comes with!

For my sentiment I used the word "friend" from the Hello Crafty Friend Dies. It come in such a pretty scripty font.

To finish my card off I used some pearls from the Peacock Feathers Pearl Mix. There are quite a few pearl mixes in the shop now that have a beautiful pearlescent two tone color to them. There are so many to choose from!

Here's one more look at this adorable card featuring the adorable Quokka in his polaroid frame!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Warm Fuzzies

Hello again Coffee Lovers! It's my day on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog again and today I have an adorable little teddy bear to share with you! He's peeking out from behind his coffee cup sending warm fuzzies!

I don't know about you but sometimes I just want to make a quick and easy card and I just love digital stamps for that very reason! Kadoodle Bug Designs has some of the most adorable clipart you could want. This adorable bear is available in the I need coffee first bundle and it also comes with a few other cute images. I also dressed my card up with some brand new pearls from Kat Scrappiness. Those blue pearls are from the Carolina Blue Pearl Mix and they have the prettiest pearlescent shine!
I also used the Stitched Rectangle dies from Kat Scrappiness to cut out my image after I printed it.
For the sentiment on my card I used the stamp set Warm Fuzzies from Gerda Steiner.
Here is one more pic showing all the supplies used on my card.

Happy Summer

Happy Summer everyone! I'll admit that summer is not my most favorite time of the year mainly because of the hot weather. I'm definitely a cold weather girl but I live in South Florida so I am out of luck! What I do love about summer is the bright and cheery colors and flowers. Kat Scrappiness has you ready for summer with cute sentiments and beach themed dies!

My card today features the Happy Summer Word dies and the flip flops from the Summer Essentials die set. I mounted all of that fun onto the new Sun Spots Background Die.

I just love how pretty these flip flops look in rainbow colors! I added a sparkly bow just for fun!

The big bold sentiment dies are the perfect size for A2 cards and I finished my card off with some pretty little Seafoam Pearls. There are so many pearl mixes in the Kat Scrappiness shop to choose from!

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have an awesome day!

A Cup of Joy

Hello and welcome back to my blog! It's my day again up on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog and I have another caffeinated creation to share with you today!

Hopefully you all had a chance to take part in the Spring/Summer 2021 Coffee Lover's hop, it was so much fun to see everyone’s cards and projects!
In case you missed Amy's wrap up post with all of the winners, you can find it here.

I made 12 cards for this hop and I've put them all in a collage to share with you today:

I used lots of different stamps and dies from the many super sponsors and had so much fun!
The bright yellow card with the flower was made using the Better Together stamp set from super sponsor Reverse Confetti. I loved that card so much and I really wanted to use that stamp set again so I made another card for today's post using that stamp set for the flowers and the cute coffee cup is from an older stamp set from Paper Smooches.

Lately I have been enjoying making mini slimline cards and super sponsor Kat Scrappiness carries a whole line of mini slimline dies! I used my favorite one on this card, it's called the Scalloped Edge Mini Slimline Die and I just love those pretty scallops around the edge!
You might notice the faint text stamp on the background and on the coffee cup and for that I used a stamp from super sponsor Unity Stamp Company called A Faithful Letter.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and having a cup of coffee with me!
Have a great day, I already am!

Santa... Define Naughty!

Happy Turkey Day to all of my crafty peeps! Today I'm up on the Kat Scrappiness blog with this cheeky Christmas card! The Naughty Christmas Stamp Set with matching Die has the funniest sentiments and this really great scripty "naughty" word die cut.

I started by stenciling a fun background that resembles the Starlight mints that are so popular this time of year. After my panel was all stenciled I cut it out with the largest die from the
For my focal point I colored one of the gnomes from the Christmas Gnomes Stamp Set with my Copic markers and then I gave him some dimension by using a snow marker on his hat and boots.
The sentiment and "naughty" die cut are from the Naughty Christmas Stamp Set with matching Die and I decided to make the die cut nice and shiny by heat embossing it with clear embossing powder!

Here is one more pic with all the supplies used on today's card.

Fur Baby Love

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I am up on the Kat Scrappiness blog and I have a card for all you animal lovers out there! If you haven't noticed slimline dies are all the rage right now and Kat Scrappiness is now carrying a wide variety of slimline dies with some very unique styles! I used 2 of the newest slimline dies for my card.

I started out with a card base of 8 1/2"x 7" and scored it 3 1/2". The next layer is the largest die from the Stitched Scalloped Nesting Slimline Dies and it is cut from kraft card stock. The top layer is cut from white card stock using the 2nd largest die from the Embossed Edge Nesting Slimline Dies.

For the main focal point on my card I used the word dies and the pawprint die from the Pet Sentiments Dies. I filled the pawprints with some patterned paper I made myself using a stencil from Taylored Expressions. The sentiment is from a My Creative Time stamp set.

To finish off my card I added these 3 fun sprinkles around the words and the pawprints:

I'm really happy with how this card came out and I just love the
paw prints in the WOOF and MEOW dies!

Here is one more picture with all of the fabulous  Kat Scrappiness products I used on my card:

Living La Vida Mocha!

Good morning fellow caffeine addicts!
I am up on The Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today and I have a
quick and simple card to share with you!

The Caffeinated line of critters at The Rabbit Hole Designs have so much character they just speak for themselves and don't require a lot of fanfare.
Today I created a clean and simple card using the Caffeinated Bee. The bee is definitely my favorite caffeinated critter of all of them! If you haven't checked out The Rabbit Hole Designs yet, it might be time for a visit!

Here's the quick and easy recipe for my card:

1) Cut out a panel of Bristol Smooth card stock using the largest die from the Stitched Rectangle Zig Zag dies from Kat Scrappiness and sponge on a circle of Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink in a loose circle near the bottom right of the card.

2) Run panel through a beehive style embossing folder for some added texture

3) Add embossed panel to a teal colored card base. I chose one to match the Peacock Feathers ink.

4) Stamp the Caffeinated Bee using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on to some Copic friendly paper and color using Copic markers. Stamp your sentiment under the bee.  I used a sentiment from The Rabbit Hole Designs Perfectly Blended stamp set.

5) Cut bee and sentiment out using a die from the Kat Scrappiness Zig Zag Circle Dies and pop it up on foam tape on your embossed panel.

That's it, easy peasy lemon squeezy!
Sometimes I love making a quick and easy card that packs a lot of punch!
Here's one more pic with the supplies used.

Did Somebody Say Cake?

Hello hello hello! I am so excited because I am up on the Kat Scrappiness blog today with a really fun card I made for my daughter's friend's birthday. I love to take out a bunch of different Kat Scrappiness dies and use them in new and creative ways.  Today I decided to make my own stencils with the Nested Layering Heart Dies. I needed to have a heart shaped stencil to do some ink blending in and I didn't have anything like that.

I started by taking the 3 smallest dies in the Nested Layering Heart Dies and cut them out of some 6x6 stencil sheets from The Crafters Workshop. I just love blank stencil sheets because you can create any stencil you want with dies that you already own. How's that for getting double duty out of your supplies!

I just love using my Distress Oxide Inks to do ink blending and I thought it would look really neat to do some ink blending over an embossed background.
I took a piece of Bristol Smooth card stock and stamped the Unity Faithful Letter background stamp in Versamark embossing ink and sprinkled Brutus Monroe Alabaster embossing powder over the panel. I then heated it until the powder was smooth and melted.
Next it was time to put my stencil to work. I placed my handmade heart stencil all over the panel in different positions even overlapping in certain spots and used 2 different color inks on each heart to get some beautiful blends. I had so much fun making a random pattern using my favorite colors.  I was sort of going for a rainbow effect as much as possible. I just love the look of the text being highlighted over the heart shapes.

I'll be honest, the ink blending looked way better than I thought it would. I was very happy with how it turned out! Once I liked the layout of the hearts, I used the largest die in the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle dies to cut out the panel and give it a finished edge. I used a bright piece of pink card stock to matte the panel on so it would really stand out.

For the sentiment I wanted a bold black die cut for the front and the Hooray w/ Shadow die was the perfect choice. I used a piece of vellum paper to back the black die cut and it looked great against the bright rainbow colors. The two smaller sentiments are from the Taylored Expressions Simple Strips - Birthday stamp set. I just love the look of white embossing on black paper!

And last but not least, what card would be complete without some Sparkling Clear Droplets?
I love how they let the color show through behind them!

I love how this card turned out and I love how with a little creativity and imagination you can create anything you want. You just have to think outside the box sometimes!

Here's another picture with all of the fun Kat Scrappiness products I used on my card:

Got Coffee?

Hi crafty friends, today I'm on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Blog to share 2 cups of coffee with you.  If you've already had your morning cup, pour another and relax.  Kat Scrappiness has an awesome die called the Layered Coffee Cup Die and it's just the right size to take center stage on any card!

For today's post I have 2 cards. I wanted the first card to have a "coffee stained" background so of course I reached for my Ground Espresso colored Distress Ink pad and  I "smooshed" (technical crafty term) some ink onto a piece of acetate and then sprayed it with water.  When the ink was moving around I placed the acetate onto a piece of watercolor paper and the results were gorgeous!  I then assembled my coffee cup out of various colors of card stock and patterned paper.

Here is a very handy instruction sheet to show you how to assemble the pieces from the die.

For the koozie section of the die I used kraft cardstock and I stamped a star from the Kat Scrappiness Swatches stamp set.  After that I ran the koozie through my paper crimper to give it a realistic look with some dimension and I added it to the cup with some foam tape.  When the coffee cup was fully assembled I added some paint splatter with the Ground Espresso color to the whole cup.  I just love the added interest paint splatter gives to any project!
For my sentiment I used the Kat Scrappiness "Got Coffee?" die and added it to the side of the card.  This sentiment is awesome and uses a fun whimsical font that is perfect for any coffee themed card.

For my next card I used just the word "coffee" and cut it out 3 times in different colors for a fun look.  I painted the coffee cup with a pink pearlescent color from the Kuretake Gansai Pearls colors watercolor set and I added a heart to the cozy from the "Swatches" stamp set and heat embossed it with Ranger Gold powder.  I placed it on a diamond embossed background and added some fun
Kat Scrappiness Barbie sequins for a feminine touch.
Such a different look with the same die!

If you added the sentiment "Wanna" above this die, it would make a cute card for a friend inviting them to get together over coffee reading "Wanna Get Coffee?"
This coffee cup die makes it easy to create an eye catching card in no time!

That's all for today, I am glad you stopped by!
Have a great day, I already am!
