1 Week Left

1 week left to get your entries in to our November Anything Goes Challenge on FB! We will draw 4 winners on the first of the month as well as start a new Challenge where we will give away another 9 DIGI's in December! All you have to do to enter is upload a project you created using an Oddball Art digi and that's it your entered! It doesn't get any easier! FYI - If you follow the link above and you are not yet a member of the FB Group Mixed Mediaology you will be required to join the group before you can enter the challenge.

Stop for A Spell and Some Halloween Howls

I hope all you Oddballs have your costumes picked out and are planning on looking Terror-ific today/tonight!!! I will be watching for pics, I just love to see all the creativity! Unfortunately for me I have not had the time this year and will be spending my Halloween working to renovate my new art studio but I am hoping to live vicariously thru all of you so please feel free to share your pics with me!! :)

10 Ways To Release The Creativity From Within...

Visit Art Galleries or Exhibitions as often as possible.
Try thinking about daily things in rhymes, it will help broaden your vocabulary which is especially usefull for creative writing.
Change your routine, i.e. drive a different route to work, go some where else for lunch.
Open your eyes and actually look at everything around you, you'll be surprised what you see.
Every once in a while try to do something that you enjoyed doing as a child, try to release the child from within, children are after all the most creative beings out there.
Clear your mind at least once a day, if you don't have a clear mind you won't have room for creativity.
Make sure you ask yourself an out of the ordinary question each and every day. i.e. What if the grass grew purple?
Try picturing your life as it if it were a movie or novel, what would happen next? Who would you meet?
Talk to someone or some people that you normally would ignore, they might have something interesting to say.
Carry a pocket sketch book with you always and note interesting things.
