Summer Enjoyment

     What have I been up to? I have been enjoying my summer. Working on projects, playing with the kids, watching movies, visiting with family and ever cleaning up after all of our summer fun. I've also been preparing for the upcoming school year, in which the four will be doing school at home. Indeed, it has been busy!

    Although, I really don't know where the time has gone. One day seems to fade into the next until a week has gone by and time just seems to roll on...like a marble at the top of a run.  There is no stopping it, I have tried, and yet the trick seems to be...make the most of every moment. Which sounds simple...it really does...but life has a funny way of making the run a bit bumpy. And more often than not... it's what it is...eventful. I guess it's what makes it so exciting, you never know what tomorrow will bring. Some things you can count on and others will knock you right off your feet!  

    Unfortunately, our summer vacation is coming to a quick close. The time has been spent and memories made. I'd love to say I've had ample time to relax and kick back my feet. Read the stack of summer reading by my bedside, have the sand between my toes everyday and float away in the aqua turquoise letting the warm breeze and current take me away.

     But, ahem.....back to reality....that's just it...REALITY. And so, as I watch my children play and swim I smile at the joy they bring to my heart. This crazy beautiful life filled with family is more than I could ever want.
