Mojo Smiles

Good Morning!  I have a card today that uses this week's Mojo Monday Sketch!!  It's contest week, so you'll want to go visit the blog to see what the prizes are and how to win them!  :)  For my card, I used the Blue Skies set along with some papers from the DIY Shop Collection from Crate Paper.

I just LOVE the butterflies in this set paired with the notebook paper image.  I added some Shine Bright Sequins for some sparkle and some gold and white twine tied in a bow.  The butterflies also have some Stardust Stickles on them.  I hope you'll play along with this week's Mojo Monday!  You'll be glad you did!  ;)

Mojo 4th of July

Happy 4th of July!!  Hope you are enjoying today!  I have a card to share that uses this week's Mojo Monday Sketch!!  It's a contest week, too, so there's prizes to be won!!  Head on over to the blog to check it out!!  We'd love to see what you create!!

I used the American Hero set for my card.  I thought that would be appropriate for today!  The papers are from the Summer Nights 6x6 Paper Pack from Taylored Expressions.  I added some Shine Bright Sequins for some extra sparkle.  The sentiment is embossed with some glitter embossing powder and stamped on a piece that was die cut with the Stitched Pennants Die Set.

Hot Chocolate

It's been far too long since I've been able to participate in a Mojo Monday Challenge!  I always enjoy them!  I'm sure you will too, so play along with us!  For my card I used the Chocolate stamp set from Verve.  The papers are from the Love Story Collection from Echo Park.

I stamped and colored the hot chocolate image with Copic markers.  I die cut the word "chocolate" using the Chocolate Word Die, which I LOVE.  So, head on over to the Mojo Monday Blog and play along with the sketch!

Mojo With Love

Things have been crazy here for last couple of months and I haven't been able to play along in the Mojo Monday Sketch as much.  I had some time here over break, so I thought I'd join in this week!  Maybe this week's sketch will get YOUR mojo going too! 

I used the Chevron Love set for my card.  The papers are from the Here and Now Collection from Echo Park.  I used the Jotted Heart Die for this big hearts and just stamped, embossed and cut the medium heart by hand.  The little hearts up in the right hand corner were die cut using the Heart Quartet Die.  I added some White Opal Liquid Pearls and some twine to finish the card.  Hope you find some time to be creative today!!  Thanks for stopping by!!

Verve November Diva Inspirations Hop

I decided to use an old favorite of mine. . .especially for around this time of year.  I used the Bountiful Harvest set from Verve for my card.   The papers are from the Harvest Lane Collection from Simple Stories.  I also used this week's Mojo Monday Sketch for my card.  I stamped, colored and cut out the pumpkin image and attached them to a tag that I die cut using the Sweet Scallop Tag.  The ribbon is from the Truly, Madly, Deeply Collection.

September Diva Inspirations Hop

For my creation, I started with this week's Mojo Monday Sketch.   This week's a contest, so might want to check out Mojo Monday this week!  ;)  As I was searching through my stamps, I decided to use Cup of Life from Verve.  This is definitely a set I haven't used in a LONG time!  Too long!  :)  I used some papers from the Lush Collection from My Mind's Eye.  I love all the different colors in this collection.  I stamped one of the teacups from Cup of Life onto Kraft cardstock in Kraft ink.  The focal sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso.  I added a little Prima flower and used some Truly, Madly, Deeply Ribbon to create "leaves".  The card was finished using some stitching and some adhesive pearls.

Mojo Serenity

Stamping time has been minimal lately. . .the end of summer, trying to squeeze in fun and shopping before school starts.  Now the kids are back in school, so things should get back to normal here at home.  :)  I was able to play along with this week's Mojo Monday Sketch.  This week you have a choice between round or square!  I chose square.

I dug out an old favorite of mine, Serenity from Verve.  I LOVE this set, but haven't used it with newer Verve stamps coming out.  I especially love this prayer.  It applies to me in my everyday life.  I'm sure it applies to a lot of you, but I've always identified with it. . .even before kids. 

I used papers from the Park Bench Collection from Fancy Pants.  The little flower is from Prima and I used the Leafy Sprigs Die Set along with the coordinating stamp from Sunny Days.  I embossed the leafs with black embossing powder, so they have a nice shine to them.  The bottom of the card uses one of the borders from the Scalloped Trim Trio Die Set.

Mojo Live the Life

I am a week behind in my cardmaking!  I meant to post this this past weekend, but between getting back from vacation and kid activities, I never did it!  So, here is my card using the Mojo Monday Sketch from last week!  :)

I used the Words of Wisdom set from Verve as well as the leaves from the Dream Big set.  As I'm linking to these, I see that both sets are temporarily out of stock!  :(  I am just striking out with this post, aren't I?  lol  There are LOTS of other wonderful Verve sentiments that will work in the same spot in the sketch, right?  :)  The papers I used are from the Harvest Lane Collection from Simple Stories. 

I used a piece of ribbon for the "banner" image in the sketch.  On top, I added a Prima flower with a red pearl used the Dreamy Leaves Die to die cut the leaves for the flower.  After putting the card together, I felt like it needed a little something on the right to balance the leaves.  I added a die cut yellow piece using the Flag It Die Set.  That is a GREAT set to add that "little" something here or there when you need it!  For the piece behind the sentiment panel, I used the Classy Label Die.   The circle and scallop circle were die cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities.
