Crazy Love - Chapter 1 by Francis Chan

I co-teach a Sunday School Class for teens. Right now we are working through the book Crazy Love by Francis Chan. It's a book worth purchasing. I thought you might enjoy some of his little video clips...

Have a happy Sunday!

Are You a Mutant?

I don't always make good use of my time. Recently, I started off mentally going through my list of things I needed to accomplish on my day off:

     1. gardening
     2. loads of laundry
     3. pharmacy pick-up
     4. clean house
     5. plan some meals
     6. go to the gym
     7. sew
     8. photograph items for Wyoming Rose
     9. organize something.... anything!
   10. write lists of more things that I probably won't accomplish today

I felt kind of overwhelmed by all that needed accomplished when I really just wanted to rest and then go play with granddaughters (which we all know I did). Well, all that overwhelmingness is hard to handle so I decided to procrastinate. What better way to procrastinate than to go online to YouTube and look up stuff you don't even need to know? What follows is a result of my efforts. Since I wasted my time, I decided I would share with you and waste a bit of your time as well.

I found out right away that I am a mutant special.

Blue eyes are the only mutation I am admitting at this time.

I bet you all are some sore of mutants as well!
I mean that in the kindest way possible.

Come to the River

This song has been running through my head all week...don't know why. So, I decided I should let it run through your head for awhile. You're welcome.

The Lord Our God

(Please click below and follow link to YouTube to hear this song.)

The Lord Our God

Kristian Stanfill

from the album Passion: Let the Future Begin
Available for sale on ITunes, Google Play, Amazon...

(Chorus)
The Lord our God is ever faithful
Never changing through the ages
From this darkness
You will lead us
And forever we will say
You're the Lord our God

Promise maker, promise keeper
You finish what You begin
Our provision through the desert
You see it through ‘til the end
You see it through ‘til the end

)
I Believe
(Chorus)

In the silence, in the waiting
Still we can know You are good
All Your plans are for Your glory
Yes, we can know You are good
Yes, we can know You are good

(Chorus)

We won't move without You
We won't move without You
You're the light of all
And all that we need

(Chorus

Still Her Little Child

Our Worship Team sang this song last night at Good Friday Service. Our director told us to really think about the words we were singing. I don't think I was the only one who was crying! The last verses are just so potent. It seemed like a good song for you all to hear on this Saturday before Easter.

Your Love Never Fails

Your Love Never Fails

Even if I run away
Your love never fails
I know I still make mistakes
You have new mercy for me everyday
'Cause Your love never fails

(Chorus)
You stay the same through the ages
Your love never changes
There may be pain in the night
But joy comes in the morning

The wind is strong and the water's deep
I'm not alone here in these open seas
Cause Your love never fails

The chasm is far too wide
I never thought I'd reach the other side
Your love never fails

Chorus

And when the oceans rage
I don't have to be afraid
Because I know that You love me
Your love never fails

You make all things work together for my good
You make all things work together for my good

Chorus

And when the oceans rage
I don't have to be afraid
Because I know that You love me
Your love never fails

How to Wear a Scarf

I really love scarves.  I love to make them and I love to wear them.  However, I only knew a few ways to wear them....that is, until now!

I don't follow fashion blogs but somehow I ran across a blog by a young woman named Wendy.    She also does videos for YouTube and one of them shows some really fun and EASY ways to wear a scarf.  Interested?  Well, check this out!  Even if you never plan to wear a scarf, it is still a charming video.

Also, I just want to say that I am pretty impressed with myself for figuring out how to imbed this video.   I'm just sayin'......
