Sometimes It's the Small Things

My sister-in-law, Sue, recently gave me the sweetest gift.  She gave me a bowl.  Yes, a bowl.  It is such a pretty bowl!   She suggested I use it for chips, ice cream, cereal, whatever.  I absolutely love it!  She knew me well.

Do you have a special bowl, cup, glass or even silverware that just makes you a bit happier simply by using it?

Maybe just looking at it makes you a bit cheerier?

This bowl does that for me.

Giraffe Teapot!

Recently my friend Nicole was in a thrift store.  She said she saw something that had my name on it so she had to get it for me.  Nicole and her daughter, Letty, brought this to me at church.  Thank you so much, guys!  I love him!  Not only does he look cool, but he sounds cool.  When the water is hot he doesn't whistle a high pitched whistle like most tea pots.  He has kind of a low, tenor kind of whistle.  That's how I knew he was a boy!  Thank-you!
