I Like.....

Today is often referred to as Throwback Thursday, so as a salute to that, my card today is not a throwback card, but the subject is definitely from another decade - welcome to Throwback Thursday 80's style.

This sweet image is Stamping Bella's Uptown Girl Farrah Loves Flashdance available here.  I colored the image with Copic Sketch Markers, added Judikins Diamond Glaze to her bubble, Wink of Stella silver accents on the stereo, and randomly drew lines around the entire image with a Sakura Clear Star pen.  After cutting the image and surrounding mat with a Spellbinder die, the image was then mounted on older Fancy Pants paper.  The musical notes were cut with Memory Box dies, and the sentiment is included with the image.

Card Recipe

"Sing a New Song"

Hi Fellow Crafters;

We are half way through April and spring is definitely in the air.  Hope you have enjoyed the wonderful spring like weather we have had over the last few days.  For my post today at OCS, I have used the Birds and Blooms stamp from Heartfelt Creations along with the matching Birds and Blooms Die.  I stamped the images and then used the matching Birds and Blooms Die to cut everything out.  So much easier to do than fuzzy cutting and certainly worth it.  I then layered the pieces for a 3D effect.

Supplies used:
There is still plenty of time to enter this month's "Anything Goes" challenge for a chance to win a prize from OCS.  For any supplies you made need to make your project and any other creative endeavours check out Lora's OCS store for some amazing products and prices.

With a Little Help

Okay, where on earth do the days go?  It is hard to believe that another month is soon ending and the fourth month is just around the corner.  Between coloring, planning card making classes, studying medical terminology and now a new grand fur baby to babysit, my days are flying by.

The weather here in southern Alberta has been exceptional, no snow to be seen and some people are saying that the plants are starting to peek out of the ground, so the days of warmer coats is coming to an end, but I fell in love with this gorgeous Art Impressions image and had to color it up.  This is Bench Set available here at One Crazy Stamper, that I have colored with Copic sketch markers and then cut and matted with a Spellbinder die.  The dp and ribbons are from my stash, and the sentiment is one of three that comes with the image.
You still have a few days left to enter the challenge to win a fabulous prize from One Crazy Stamper!

This weeks card recipe is all about the E's
Skin - E00, E01, R20(Cheeks)
Greens - E81, E84, E87, E89
Beiges - E40, E42, E43, E44

Hi Everyone;

Now that March break is over, hopefully this spring like weather will stay for a while.  It is certainly melting the snow and becoming a bit warmer.  The month is almost over and hopefully it doesn't go out like a lion.

For my post today at OCS I have used this adorable Hummingbird stamp as well as a sentiment from the Sign Post Sentiment set. Both are from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.  The background is a stamp from Impression Obsession called Blossoming Branches Background which I coloured with some Rangers Distress Inks.

Hi Everyone;

As it is a new month, this means that we have a new challenge here at OCS, and it is "Anything Goes".  For my post today, I have used a High Hopes Rubber Stamps called "Hummingbird Ring" and no design paper.  I used the Ranger Distress Inks to add colour to the embossed background.

Have a Great Day!!!

Hi Fellow Crafters;

I hope you all had a good Family Day and enjoyed the time with your family.  The weather is finally warming up for a change after the cold weekend.  Here at OCS, we are having a "Red, White and a Die" challenge and the design team are using the January release of High Hopes Rubber Stamps.

For my post today, I have used the adorable Favourite Honey Bear.  I coloured the image with the Spectrum Noir Pencils, added Ranger Distress Ink to the image.  I hand wrote the sentiment as I didn't have a suitable sentiment.  The hearts were coloured with a red Stella of Wink, and the clear was used for the honey and flower centers. The mesh was from my stash.

Supplies used:
There is still plenty of time to enter this month's challenge for a chance to win a prize pack from OCS.  If you are in need of some retail therapy, check out Lora's brick and mortar and online OCS stores for some amazing products and prices.

Incredi-Bowl!

Hi Fellow Crafters;

Wacky Wednesday is here again.  Yesterday was a nice warm day and today we are in a winter chill with the possibility of snow.  I hope you all saw Aaemie's amazing card -- she definitely had fun with it.  For my post today for OCS, I have used the Incredibowl Set from Art Impressions.  Now the card turned out differently to what I had planned as Murphy didn't to have some fun and the image moved when I embossed it.  The choices were to either re-colour or fussy cut it and go down a different path.  The different path won.-

Supplies used:
Love all the entries for this month's challenge "Anything Goes" at OCS, and there is still plenty of time to enter.  For all your supplies to be creative do shop at Lora's brick and mortar and online OCS store.
