I'VE BEEN BOO-ED!
Boo Ya'll!
Guess What? I've been Boo-ed by my sweet and talented friend Pat at Back Porch Musings! What fun!
Here are the rules: "Go to as many friends as you want and tell them they've been Boo-ed." Have them link back to your blog to pick up their Halloween treat (picture) and tell them to Boo their friends. (Then put the picture in your side bar so everyone knows you've already been Boo-ed and to send the picture to someone else.) Are you scared yet!!??
Gotta run...I've got some booing to do!

A REPORT FROM THE "CAPTAIN"
**Warning***Lots of pink ahead!!
As I mentioned in my last post, the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on Saturday (25th) was a big success and so much fun.
We all gathered in the kitchen at 7:30 for a quick breakfast before the walk.

Our friends Bob and Jennifer joined us for breakfast.
Breakfast of champions: cinnamon rolls, cereal, fruit, coffee and juice. LOL

When everyone starting lining up, Karen and I went to the front of the line for a photo under the balloons.

We had to pull up alongside the guys and tease them about wearing pink. Bob cracked us up by pretending to kiss George's neck.
When we arrived, Karen and I were given a survivor sash to wear and a message stone.

Some of the girls who work in the hair salon I go to came to walk and brought their daughters too!
Here we are warming up before the walk...yep that's me acting like a fool!
After the walk, we gathered around to talk and celebrate.
Before I left, I signed Team Davenport up to walk next year. It's a tradition for us now.
It might be a little hard to see, but the silver sneaker (with tiny pink shoe laces) I'm wearing around my neck was given to me by my friend Carol's sister who is also a breast cancer survivor. She wore it 14 years ago when she did the Race For The Cure and decided to give it to me. How sweet is that!

What do you do after a long walk?
Go out for a big breakfast, of course! Not everyone could come, but it sure was nice to have quite a few of my team all together.
After we got home....

We all went out for barbecue for dinner and this unusual truck was parked outside. Have you ever seen anything like this coming down the road toward you?
