AND THE STOCKINGS.....

.....are finally finished!!!!! Yeah! I buy things for my stockings all year long. I always think I've bought enough, more than enough actually, but usually (this year too!) I discover I don't have enough and then I moan and groan and pitch a fit I have to make more trips to find more treasures. Which is what I did today after tennis.

I do ALOT of stockings...children, grandchildren, pets, my Mom, my Aunt and George. George does one....mine. He does a great job though, so I won't complain too much.

I have just a few more gifts to buy, but in celebration of finishing the stockings and being so close to having it all done, George and I have decided to have a date night tonight....movies and dinner out. Yippee! I'll worry about those gifts tomorrow.

Christmas hugs everyone!

Christams hugs to you......
You have done well with your stockings they look great.
I was hoping to make one each for my grandsons but did not have time.
I'll probably make them in the summer ready for next Christmas.
Hugs,

Finding what's in my stocking on Christmas morning is always the most fun. I remember when we were first married my hubby turned all my makeup over to get the names and colors. I couldn't figure out what in the world happend to my loose powder...when I opened it, it went everywhere! Then on Christmas morning I got the answer...I had new powder and lip gloss and blusher in my stocking...in my shades. It was such a sweet gesture, I never mentioned it.

You're a good Santa! Stockings are so much fun, I enjoy them more than gifts. Dan does mine, and I do everyone else's. I loved your pictures of NYC, Kat, thanks for sharing the trip with us! It was like being there -- well almost:) If I don't stop by again, have a very Merry Christmas, my friend.

Kat-
Sorry to leave a comment here about the header issue, butI have a temporary fix to the header issue. When you are in the edit window for your header, you can select "display instead of title and description", instead of "behind title and description". I don't have a description and the picture doesn't need a title. however, it is HUGE now. So I guess I will leave it like that for now.

Dang Kat...that's a bunch of stockings...what do I have to do to get on your "Stocking List", cause they look great!

How do you do the stocking thing? Do you hand them out when you are all together then they return them to you to fill the next year?

I had stockings for our children when they were at home but after they got older and left home, I didn't do it any more.

What a lot of stockings!

I loved all of your New York pictures. Bree and Jay make a really cute couple (as do you and George!). You sure had a jam-packed few days.

I can see my stocking from here, the one with the little dolly sticking up? I do stockings for all, too...including the pets...I have a sneaking suspicion that Pyewackit has been into his though...he is such a nip head! He's been running through the house like a wild bandit all morning! Probably for good reason! Have fun tonight and tell us all about the movie you choose!

We have a lot of fun doing stockings. Everyone buys some little thing for each stocking. It's always fun to see what the kids put in.

Merry Christmas!

I love your stockings and wish I was getting one of those pretty things. When my oldest was a baby we had a big stocking like that and we would put her in it. Have fun at the movies and dinner.

Our stockings were always the first thing we opened on Christmas a.m. My hubby never did them growing up so I've had to train him to fill mine to the brim and overflowing ~ hehehe ~ not really. He does a good job as well! Our boys love to find out what is in theirs and so we've carried on the traditon of that being the first thing opened.
Many Christmas wishes and Blessings from our house to yours!

Sandy :)
