Heartfelt Thanks with The Craft's Meow

The day has finally arrived !

It's The Craft's Meow January Release
Team Blog Hop

I hope you stopped by from my friend

If not, I would love for you to join us from the start at
because someone is going to win the
entire collection of new releases and it could be you !

I created today's card using
'Happy as a Lark' and 'Many Thanks'

I laid down my 'wallpaper' base using paper from Lily Bee Design.
I wrapped the seam with binding & baker's twine from The Twinery.
I stamped the lark on the top half.

On a separate piece of cardstock, I stamped another lark, cut it out
and shaded it with color.  I adhered it just off-center from the one
on the base card so it would bring a little dimension.

I die cut the vine and gave it some dimension with Stickles.
I stamped the sentiment on a Spellbinder's die cut frame
and embellished it with black gems & Liquid Pearls.

Don't forget . . .

'Lark Additions' is this month's FREE GIFT w/$50 purchase.
It's the PERFECT compliment to the set I featured today.
The sentiments are simply beautiful.

To have the BEST CHANCE TO WIN the entire collection of new releases,
pay a visit to our designer's blogs,
leave a comment where you can and cross your fingers
all by 9pm PST, Wednesday January 23rd.
One random winner will be chosen from one of the blogs
on the hop.
Speaking of the hop, it's time to send you on to
She is the illustrator behind the beautiful lark designs
and I know she will have beautiful inspiration for you !

Subtle Beauty....

Welcome back to The Open Window.

Are you ready for a bee-autiful color story from

This week's suggested colors are...

Avocado...Blue Mist...Grey Wool

I just bought this embossing folder a couple days ago and I love it.
It's a Wreath EF from Sizzix.  I used a textured cardstock, which is
difficult to see in the photo, but the texture is beautiful.

The sentiment is from EAD Designs Stickerz collections,
the seam binding is from one of my favorite Etsy shops,
The flowers are by The Paper Studio & Recollections.

I am so excited about this week's brand new sponsor

I mentioned a couple of days ago that my teammate Karola Witczak
sent me a collection of her designs at The ScrapCake and I just love them.
(you can see that card HERE)

Thanks so much for popping by.
I hope you'll have a sec to leave a note to let me know you were here.

I'll be back tomorrow with a VERY special post as I am guest
designing for a terrific website....you'll see!

Happy 'Bird--day!

I hope you are having a simply wonderful weekend so far.
It's April Fools Day of course, but there are no jokes here today.
I don't often post on a Sunday but I was asked if I'd like to
come to a party and of course, I said yes!

If you've reached my blog by way of the uber-talented
then you are in the perfect spot!

If not, you might want to grab a 'cuppa' somethin'
and head back to the beginning over at the
because there are a lot of folks partyin' today!

I was honored to be a guest designer not long after the LPC blog
went live (you can check it out here) and I do try to visit often.

Since we are celebrating a birthday, I wanted to create with something colorful,
so I immediately pulled out my 6x6 pad from The ScrapCake.
The collection is called 'My Private Happiness' and was designed by
very creative teammate from The Twinery, Karola Witczak.
She sent me a beautiful parcel of papers & embellishments
all the way from Poland and I have to say....
I love these designs!

After I laid my 'wallpaper' base, I began to just layer things that
made me smile, such as the hand-dyed seam binding from
Sugar Lump Studios and flowers from Prima.

The sign, sentiment & sweet little birdies are from the 'Tweet of You'
set by The Craft's Meow.  I 'hung' the sign using tiny pearls.

I hope you will plan to join in the blog hop today because there are
fabulous prizes up for grabs...over $500 in all!
There are a few different ways you can win...
**Leave a comment on the Lily Pad Cards Blog...
**Leave a comment on each participating blog on the hop...
**Like the LPC Facebook Page

Winners will be chosen by random draw from all of these links,
and you'll have until the end of the week to get it done,
so you have plenty of time!

It is time to get you on to the next stop on the hop and that's
my creative friend and designer

And...you know it's coming....
Happy Hopping!
