Watercolour Wings for Crafternoon Tea (Part 3)

Hello again! Today I am sharing the final part of my Watercolour Wings trio that we made at Crafternoon Tea in August. There is no Crafternoon Tea in September due to my Weekend Retreat but I do them every month continuing in October, please see my Classes and Events page for more details or you can check out my Facebook events HERE
This was the final card from the trio and very different to the other 2 makes. We embossed the Pear Pizazz background with the Petal Burst embossing folder and layered the butterflies on top.
And here are all 3 of the makes together, all came with stamped envelopes too! Which one is your favourite?
August's Online Code is still active until 31st August, use the code when spending £25+ on my Online Store for a gift in September!

Watercolour Wings for Crafternoon Tea (Part 2)

Hello again and welcome back to another post with the Watercolour Wings stamp set and the Baby Wipe Technique. A very simple make with the stamped butterfly and the detailed die cut laid over the top with some added rhinestones.
I often never use all my sequins so I am determined to get them on more of my projects and this one was perfect for adding some of the Bermuda Bay sequins which we pulled off the thread and added individually. Little tip for this, add a tiny blob of glue to the card and then take the sequin to the card!
The sentiment is from the Fresh Fruit stamp set, a very useful little Happy Birthday stamp.

Watercolour Wings for Crafternoon Tea (Part 1)

Hello there and welcome back to my blog today. Yesterday I ran my first ever Sunday class and had 5 lovely ladies join me for my Thoughtful Branches class with a little cream tea afterwards.

Talking of cream teas, today I am starting the sharing of the projects from my most recent Crafternoon Tea. I have a set of butterfly projects on display at my studio that probably get the most comments from my guests, there is a link to them HERE and I promised some of my ladies that I would do some butterfly makes with the same technique on a similar theme. Two of the colours had retired since I made the previous projects so I kept the Bermuda Bay and added some Pear Pizazz and Watermelon Wonder to create a summery feel.
I had 14 ladies attend this event so I did precut the white detailed butterflies for each guest to help with the running of the class.
We also stamped the butterflies on the envelopes using the same baby wipe technique.
I'll be back soon with the next creation in the set that we made.

Have a great Monday!

Final Butterfly project

Good Morning. I am still recovering from an amazing weekend at Telford with my Stampin' Up! team and 379 other demonstrators from around the UK. What I couldn't tell you before was that I was doing a presentation to everyone which was all very exciting! We got to see the new catalogue that will be coming out on 1st June and I recommend you pop back here this evening around 9pm as I will hopefully have the Stampin' Up! Retirement List for you all to peruse!
Onto the last project of my little set which is this cute little tag. It uses the same techniques and is a perfect match as a birthday card and gift tag combo!
Here are all the makes together, don't they look great if I so say so myself!
Right I must dash as it's back to school with a vengeance today!

Even Fancier Baby Wipe Butterfly!

Hello there! I am back with another make from my Team Training selection. Now this one wasn't one that the girls made but was a little bit of an experiment for me. I ended up with an extra stamped butterfly so I thought, what would it look like cut out with the fancy die instead of using plain white card. Well I was very impressed with it! Call it a double Baby Wipe Technique!
I added a bit of white striped satin ribbon to the top of the card and I still flicked the Wink of Stella all over the background of the card, and onto the ribbon - oooops!
I think it's really striking, what do you think?

Fancy Baby Wipe Butterfly card

Good Morning! Carrying on with yesterdays theme I am sharing more makes from training over the next couple of days. Today's is a version of a card we make at Coffee and Card a few weeks ago but in the same colours as yesterdays make. This card created a little bit of excitement amongst my ladies for the Lovely Lace embossing folder and a few orders were made that day. Easy how you miss these things in the catalogue.
I actually used the reverse of the embossed pattern as I enjoy the debossed side. I used some of the gorgeous Sahara Sand lace and I have a feeling this may be on the Retirement List soon and I will miss it so much!
Rather than stamp directly on the card like yesterdays make, we stamped on some scrap and then cut it out of the Big Shot with the Bold Butterfly dies.
Ta-dah! I love this card and I need to make more before these colours go!

Baby Wipe Butterfly

Hello there! Today is very exciting as I will be heading off to Telford shortly for our Onstage Local event with 28 of my team members and almost 400 demonstrators from the UK! Very exciting as we get to see the brand new catalogue in the flesh that will be live on 1st June.

Today I am sharing a make from our Team Training event where we explored the baby wipe technique. This was new to many of my team members and they really enjoyed making the projects. The card shared today was totally CASED from my upline Monica however I added an extra little technique.
The colours used are Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Bermuda Bay in the re-inkers. If you want the 2014-2016 in colour refills I suggest you purchase them this weekend as they will soon be gone.
Other than the technique the card is very simple with a little bit of Wink of Stella in gold flicked on the card. I held the pen over the card and tapped it quite firmly and it created the gold speckles that I hope you can see.
An here is a list of all the colour items that will be leaving us very soon. Please hurry if you need to stock up on these!
