Watercolour Pencils Background

Hello there and welcome back to my blog today, if you are a regular visitor! If you are new then welcome to you and I hope you like today's make?

This was the last project at our Watercolour Pencil class and was a cute mini card. There was a story behind how small it was which was mostly because my shipment of Watercolour Paper did not arrive in time due to Easter delays at the warehouse so I had to make the best use of every little scrap that I had!
We scribbled on the Watercolour Paper with Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry pencils and then swished over them with the Aquapainter to create this effect. To be honest I much preferred the background I made when I demonstrated it to my ladies rather than the one I am sharing with you here, isn't that always the case?
The butterfly is die cut from Rich Razzleberry card and I let my ladies use one of my brand new gold gems! OOOOooooooo!
We embossed the Thank You in gold and I still love seeing the first time reactions to heat embossing from the new ladies, it's always magical!

It's almost time for me to order my new catalogues and I have a sign up form for you to use if you are in the UK and don't already have a designated Stampin Up demonstrator and don't already get a catalogue from me at the moment.
Here is the link to click to sign up HERE

Love and Affection for Team Training

Hello there and welcome back to my blog today. Today I wanted to share the projects we made at training this week. I run regular monthly trainings for our team and it's a great way to get together, catch up on all the Stampin' Up! news and of course do some crafting. I'd been struggling with the Love and Affection set but after a quick browse through Pinterest I stumbled upon this amazing project by Helene den Breejen, you can find Helene's design HERE . Helene used the Mini Treatlits bag to create the pocket of the card but I choose to make my own from an A5 piece of card.
I just love this colour combo of Pool Party, So Saffron, Pear Pizazz, Rose Red and Flirty Flamingo. It's just got such a summery feel to it, I really enjoyed making these projects.
We also made a little tag to go with our fancy card.
Here are all our makes together, I definitely think I will use this colour combo again.
If you fancy the idea of being part of our Stampin Up family then we have an amazing offer on this month for those who purchase the Starter Kit and join Stampin' Up! Purchase your Starter Kit for £99, choose £130 worth of products AND THEN an extra 2 FREE stamp sets on top. This offer is only available until the end of June.

March Online Code Club gifts

Hello there and Happy Sunday to you. I am up and about today as I am going to the gym this morning! Yes I am on a little bit of a fitness thing at the moment as I go away on the Stampin Up cruise 6 weeks today so I am trying to be really good!

This week I sent out my little care packages for my Online Code shoppers in March. These have also gone out to or are waiting to go to my local shoppers too who placed an order at the end of the month.
I made a big batch of these thank you cards using the baby wipe technique and the One Big Meaning stamp set. Really quick and easy to do but if you don't like getting too inky then these are not for you!
Not sure if you can see but I flicked the Wink of Stella gold pen all over the cards to create a lovely gold splattered effect
It's always fun choosing gifts to send out in the post and I have to think carefully as I don't want them to be too bulky so I decided to create a little It's My Party bundle this month. I got some of the 12x12 It's My Party stacks and smiled very sweetly at Roger who owns the printers next door and he cut the big stacks into 6x6 pads for me on his super duper huge guillotine!
I also ordered some of the Enamel Dots and matching card stock for my ladies and made these little packages up for them. I hope you have received yours by now as I sent them out on Thursday.
If you would like to receive something similar in May then I have a new code up and running for April as detailed below. Thank you to those of you who have used it already!

Timeless Elegance Thank You

Good Morning and welcome to my blog today! Today I am sharing another make from my Monthly Stamp a Stack (last one for 2015 on 27th November) which I ran a couple of weeks ago. This card was totally CASED from a gorgeous card I saw on Claire Daly’s blog, thank you Claire, your card is stunning.

At my Stamp a Stacks I always like to make one card that showcases one of the paper packs as they are often hard to gauge from the catalogue images so this month it was the turn of Timeless Elegance which I absolutely LOVE! The ladies could choose to stamp Thank You or take the circle home to stamp another sentiment on it

I love how it turned out and it could so easily be a birthday or wedding card too!

I have now created the Hostess Code for Online Orders during November. Don’t forget to use the code if you shop with me and spend between £25 and £150 to get a free gift in the post in early December. If you are a local customer then please email your order towards the end of November and I will add to the order when I close it on 30th November.

Watercolour Wings Inlaid Embossing

Good Morning to you. Today I am starting to share the makes from my Technique Club last week. I base the class around one stamp set and this month it was the Watercolour Wings set. These are small teacher led classes and we all work together at the same pace as everyone has their own set included in the cost of the class.
I start the class with a fairly simple card, I call it the “warm up” card and this time I shared the inlaid embossing technique, the stamped butterfly is embossed into the rest of the card for a fun technique.
My next class is on Saturday 26th September and full details will be announced soon.

Hope you like this one, I will be back with a more difficult make tomorrow!

World of Thanks

Good Morning! Today I am sharing the final card from my Stamp a Stack event last week and this one was inspired by a card from Australian demonstrator Kylie Bertucci, you can find her original card design here. Thank you Kylie.
I recently purchased the World of Thanks stamp and I wanted to take the opportunity to use it on this particular session. The colours used are Smoky Slate and Delightful Dijon with a hint of Basic Grey.
A very simple make for you on this dreary Thursday, just looked out and it’s raining again! Today I am pottering about with a bit of crafting and a Skype craft date with my Aussie bestie Sarah! Woo hoo!

See you tomorrow

Lucy’s Hostess Gift

Hello again. When attending a party I always take a gift for the hostess. Sometimes its a small product from Stampin Up and other times it’s something made by me. For Lucy’s party on  Friday I made a set of thank you cards in one of the new Sketched Dots Gift Bags tied up with some of the new Mint Macaron Lace Trim.
Here are the cards inside, very much like the ones I shared yesterday but using different colours.
I am sure Lucy will be able to put these to good use! If you would like a party in your home or a private class please do get in touch with me if you are in the Leeds/Bradford area.

I have generated a Hostess Code for the month of June. Please use code 6VFVG2ZMwhen checking out on my Online Store if you order is over £20 but under £150. During July I will be sending you a little gift in the post to say thank you, this will be a gift from the new catalogue.

Party Make and Take

I’m still on with the Watercolour Wings today (got more for tomorrow too) and I’m sharing the Make and Take from Lucy’s party. What is a Make and Take you ask? Well, at the party everyone makes a card and gets to take it home! Simple!
I wanted to feature our new Thick Whisper White card stock so this card is very clean and fresh looking. The ladies could choose to use the new Butterfly embossing folder or the Brick embossing folder. The butterfly proved the most popular!
We used Blushing Bride and Rose Red for the butterfly and the One Big Meaning stamp set for the sentiment. I am loving this new stamp set for my thank you cards.
And here is another version, with the Brick Embossing folder and with some added White Satin ribbon. Which do you prefer?
I have generated a Hostess Code for the month of June. Please use code 6VFVG2ZMwhen checking out on my Online Store if you order is over £20 but under £150. During July I will be sending you a little gift in the post to say thank you. Just to let my May shoppers know that your Online Code Club treats went out on Friday so they should be with you now, hope you liked them!
