Creation Station August Blog Hop - Artistic Expression

Hey there and welcome to my blog today! I'm back with the fabulous Creation Station team today after a bit of a hiatus. Today we are showcasing the Artistic Expression section of the catalogue from pages 127 to 179. I've gone for a simple make today really just to show off the fabulous Beautiful You stamp set and the Garden Impressions papers
The lady from the stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink onto the Whisper White circle and then stamped again onto the patterned paper, then cut out her dress and hat and stick these over the image you stamped on the circle. Colour her skin in with the Stampin Blends!
We did have some fun with this one at my recent BINGO event where ladies cut the dress wrong or almost cut her arm off!!!
I do hope you like my simple make today and will continue on the hop by clicking the NEXT button below to visit my colleague Julie.

We also have an exclusive bundle and new Watercolour Pencils available for the month of AUGUST only! The Blended Season stamp set will cover all your makes all the year round, you can see it on my Online Store in more detail by clicking on the images below.
The dies alone are just amazing and as you can see from the image below they have a double stitched effect! Just fantastic!
As usual I have my Online Code set up for my Online Shoppers!

50th Birthday Card with Beautiful You

Hello there! The Beautiful You stamp set has been one of my most popular selling items from the Spring/Summer catalogue and the good news is that it is carrying over into the new catalogue on 1st June.

A few weeks ago it was Anjie's 50th birthday. Anjie is one of the 4 remaining ladies who have been coming to my Tuesday Club since it started back in January 2010! We have moved from my conservatory to the church hall and then the church hall to my studio and these 4 ladies have stuck it out with me! Thanks Anjie for you support over the years.
I stamped the stylish lady all over but opted just to colour and highlight one lady in and then add the large number dies using the Silver Glimmer card.
Love a big bow on a card but don't often add them due to postage, however this card was hand delivered so all was good!

Beautiful You with Watercolour Pencils (again)

Good Morning. Well I am happy to say that the colouring class went really well on Saturday and the ladies all made some fab creations.

Today I am sharing the second card we made with the Beautiful You stamps. We experimented with colouring on different papers/cards and this one was stamping the "pink lady" onto Watercolour Paper and then shading in with the Pencils and a Blender Pen. I love the Blender Pens and the ladies all managed really well with them on Saturday.
The other ladies were "coloured" in with the matching stamp from the set which gives them an artistic squiggle of colour over their frock!
If you are wondering how I achieved the flesh colour when there isn't a flesh coloured pencil in the set, well I used Calypso Coral, BUT I took the Blender Pen to the tip of the pencil so I could control how much colour I needed and didn't get too much on her skin.
Here are both of the cards together from our lovely class, I'll be back to show you more next time!
It's almost time for me to order my new catalogues and I have a sign up form for you to use if you are in the UK and don't already have a designated Stampin Up demonstrator and don't already get a catalogue from me at the moment.

Beautiful You with the Watercolour Pencils

Hello there, hope you are having a lovely weekend? Yesterday I ran a Watercolour Pencil class with 8 lovely ladies. I have written this blog up before the actual event so I would love to say it went really really well! Here's hoping!

In the class I wanted to concentrate on the colouring techniques rather than the complexity of the cards, so the cards are all fairly simple makes, no fancy folds or anything like that kind of craft business!
This card is similar to one I made a few weeks ago with multiple stamping of the stylish lady from Beautiful You, one of the most popular sellers from the Spring/Summer Catalogue. I stamped the ladies in the Archival Black ink pad from Stampin Up onto the White Shimmer card which I just love for colouring on, it is a little more forgiving that standard Whisper White.
The colours used are Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo and I stamped an extra lady and cut here out and layered her up for a little dimension! Can you spot a new product on this card?
If you would like to get your hands on the Watercolour Pencils then they are a steal at £14.50 for 13 pencils and I hope that after today's class my ladies will agree that they are really easy to use.

Beautiful You with Emerald Envy

Good Morning! A little late blogging today as I was so tired last night, when I often schedule my blog posts. Today I am sharing one of my favourite cards I have made in the last few weeks with the Beautiful You stamp set. This stamp set is my most popular seller this year and it's had a lot of positive comments. If you would still like to purchase the Class in the Post you still have chance, details are HERE
Please note I do not hold stock of the products for these kits so I have to order them in and then post them out to you when they have arrived with me.
We made this card at my Tuesday Club last week and I just love it. The lady was coloured in with the Aqua Painters and the Emerald Envy ink pad. If you look closely you can see that I stamped her direct onto the card and then stamped again, cut out and layered her on for a decoupaged effect.
I do love this stamp set with the 2016-2018 In Colours, I think it works really well with them.
Thank you to those who have used my Code for March. We have another 11 days left of the current code and 11 days left of Sale-A-Bration!

Beautiful You for Stamp a Stack

Good Morning and welcome to my blog today. Yesterday I ran a lovely Stamp a Stack event for 10 ladies who each made 24 cards in one day. I have already shared one of the cards on Friday with the Oh So Succulent suite, it did require a lot of patience with the rolling of all those little plants but I am back with another one to show you today.

I am loving the Beautiful You stamp set and knew I had to use it on one of the cards and I saw this fabulous card HERE made by Judy G and I put my own slant on it.
The card is a bit of a homage to my 80's themed bedroom of pink and grey! Did you have a pink and grey room in the 80's? The ladies all enjoyed making this one as it was one of the easier cards on the day.
I love how the scribble stamp colours in the dress of the lady. Some of my ladies also used the scribble in Flirty Flamingo on the highlighted lady rather than colouring her in, which looked really effective too.
Thank you to those who have used my code so far this month. Last months gifts have now gone out, thank you.
