Done and ....

.... dusted. Yup, got the teenage nephew's card finished!!!

It's for this week's PaperPlay challenge, set by Kate, and it's a recipe:

For this weeks challenge I'd like you to use this recipe for your project:
2 Patterned Papers
1 Ribbon
3 buttons
Add some creativity and mix it all together!
.
I'm ashamed to admit that, yet again, I didn't read it properly, and I only have two buttons on mine. Can't think why this keeps happening - in real life, I'm a dotter of Is and a crosser of Ts!!!
.

I'm also entering this card in this week's Daring Cardmakers - they're looking for cards using kraft cardstock (which I love!!).

And also Quixotic Challenges, this week they're looking for stitching. All my cards these days have stitching, I love the look it gives on cards. I really need to get into machine stitching, though, 'cos all that hand-stitching takes so bloomin' long!!!

Back soon with ..... cards for girls!!!! Woohoo!!!!

Thanks for looking!

Thanks for passing on my leaflet in school. It would be great if they came to the next Taney craft fair as well. Have a great weekend, I am busy making new COLOURFUL fairies to hang anywhere at Christmas - not just on the tree. xx Carol

Julie you have been so busy since I last dropped by, I love your pumpkins and the little clothes peg doll. I think the colours on this card as so beautiful, greys and reds, they are my colours this winter. The handstitching is amazing, and I agree you really should get a machine, sometimes Lidl and Aldi have a small machine that would be perfect for you, my daughter uses one for cards.Good luck in the competitions, and it is perfect for a teenage boy. Thanks for stopping by Margie's Crafts and leaving your lovely comment. I only have time to craft at the weekends, but I love it. I have a new blog Christmas Time Magic now too, so I am also working on Christmas crafts. Did you get to the K & S show this year? Hugs, Margie.
