SNOW BUNTINGS at GOTHIAN SANDS

I Finally got down to Gothian Sands for the Snow Buntings.
Only had a short break in the weather to get them and they were quite flighty.
Finally met Mike (Kernow Birder) and Harvey the dog for the first time
and it was great to have their company.
We have been following each others blogs and realised that we actually went to school together.

BIRDING at PENDEEN.

We had a great day yesterday at Pendeen, with migrants blown in and
others like the Flycatchers waiting to fly out.
We saw a Wryneck but didn't get a photo, but while John was busy digiscoping the Shrike,
which was too far off for my camera, I did manage to get a Snow Bunting.

Newlyn and Porthgwarra

We went to Newlyn at the weekend for the Snowbunting. Sue took the Snowbunting as it
was so obliging, I was too close for digiscoping. Thanks to John and Kate for their info.
The rest are odds and ends from Porthgwarra and Gothian Sands.

This Dung Fly appears to be killing the House Fly. The Diving Beetle is a first for us.
